WWE NXT UK REPORT: WALTER VERSUS A-KID, FACE OFF BETWEEN JINNY AND KAY LEE RAY, AND MORE

We start off with a video package to highlight the participants in the NXT UK Championship match, WALTER and A-Kid.

We are in London, England and your announcers are Andy Shepherd and Nigel McGuinness.

Match Number One: Joe Coffey versus Ed Harvey

They lock up and go to a stalemate. They lock up again and Coffey wit a side head lock. Coffey with a shoulder tackle but Harvey stays on his feet. Harvey with a shoulder tackle and Coffey does not move. Harvey with a slam. Coffey with a running shoulder tackle. Coffey tries to float over and Coffey is caught. Coffey with a head scissors.

Harvey is sent to the floor and he says he is not having this. He says that he is not Ed Harvey, he is Sha Samuels. Everyone knows he is Sha Samuels. Coffey goes for another running shoulder tackle and Samuels with a spinebuster. Samuels with an Irish whip and back body drop. Samuels gets a near fall.

Samuels with elbows to the collarbone. Samuels with an arm bar and Coffey with forearms as Samuels holds on to the arm bar. Samuels with an Irish whip and Coffey floats over and gets a near fall with a rollup. Samuels sends Coffey into the turnbuckles and connects with a clothesline. Samuels kicks Coffey in the back and punches Coffey. Samuels with a reverse chin lock. Samuels gets on Coffey’s back to add more pressure but Coffey gets Samuels to the mat. Coffey with a back body drop and both men are down. Coffey with a shoulder tackle and flying shoulder tackle. Coffey with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex for a near fall.

Coffey with punches and uppercuts as he backs Samuels into the corner. Coffey with a back elbow and he goes for a cross body but Samuels catches Coffey and hits a power slam for a near fall. Samuels goes for a sleeper but Coffey rolls through. Samuels holds on to the sleeper but Coffey with a hip toss to escape. Coffey with a cross body for a near fall. Coffey with forearms and punches followed by a head butt to the back. Coffey with a Glasgow Sendoff followed by Best for the Bells for the three count.

Winner: Joe Coffey

We go to footage from earlier this week when Sid Scala is awaiting a call about the tag division. Pretty Deadly enter the office and say it is time for them to get a tag title match. Sid says that he has been discussing the tag division with Johnny Saint.

Sid tells Sam and Lewis that in two weeks, they will be facing Oliver Carter and Ashton Smith, the Hunt, and Flash Morgan Webster and Mark Andrews in an elimination match to determine the Number One Contender for the NXT UK tag titles.

Sam says that is a good general manager and he leaves with Lewis.

We go to commercial.

We are back with Rampage Brown working out in the Performance Centre and Dave Mastiff works out as well. Dave says Rampage has impressed a lot of people, including him. He says Rampage needs a challenge and he suggests himself.

Sam Gradwell says something most untoward has happened to Tyler Bate. He used to be a bit of a geezer. Now he is a plant based yogurt who caresses the trees. Let’s see how Zen you are when I am rattling your jowls and kidneys.

Match Number Two: Tyler Bate versus Sam Gradwell

They lock up and Gradwell with a wrist lock. Gradwell with a back crescent kick. Bate with a reversal into a wrist lock. Bate with an arm wringer that sends Gradwell to the mat. They lock up and Bate with a cravate into a side head lock. Bate goes between the legs and then he kicks Gradwell and gets a near fall with a rollup. Bate with a cross body for a near fall.

Bate with an arm drag into an arm bar. Gradwell with an Irish whip and Bate floats over and takes Gradwell down with an arm drag and arm bar. Gradwell rakes the face and slams Bate. Gradwell with a chop and elbows to the top of the head. Gradwell with a forearm to the back and kicks to Bate. Gradwell with a forearm. Bate kicks Gradwell but Gradwell with a butterfly suplex for a near fall. Gradwell with a knee to the back followed by a punch for a near fall.

Gradwell with a nerve hold on Bate. Gradwell with an elbow. Bate with a head butt and Gradwell with a forearm and kick. Bate kicks Gradwell in the leg many times. Gradwell with a kick to the head. Bate goes for a sunset flip but Gradwell blocks it and Bate with an uppercut and more punches. Gradwell sends Bate into the corner but Bate with a kick and he goes to the turnbuckles for a corkscrew back elbow. Bate with a running elbow and Bate catches Gradwell charging into the corner and hits an exploder followed by a shooting star press for a near fall.

Bate sets for the Tyler Driver but Gradwell with a back drop and Bate lands on his feet. Gradwell with an STO for a near fall. Gradwell punches Bate. Bate with punches and rolling kick. Bate with Tyler Driver for the three count.

Winner: Tyler Bate

We take a look at Ashton Smith and Oliver Carter in the Performance Centre. In the background, Sid Scala tells something to Kenny Williams and Amir Jordan and they do not look too happy.

Sid stops by and he tells Oliver and Ashton they will be part of the number one contender match for the tag titles. Ashton says it is time.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Ilja Dragunov stops by to talk to Jack Starz. Ilja says he knows what he needs to do and he needs to start from the beginning. He wants to fight Jack. Jack was the first person he fought and he is the gatekeeper. Jack accepts the challenge and says the outcome will not be the same this time.

Jinny makes her way to the ring and she is joined by Joseph Conners.

She says last week, she beat Piper Niven and that victory made me the new number one contender. I deserve a lot of credit for that victory, but some recognition needs to go to Joseph. Why has Joseph associated himself with her? She says she is a woman of wealth and with wealth comes power and with power comes connections.

Jinny says next week, she will become the new NXT UK Women’s Champion and you can guarantee that.

NXT UK Women’s Champion Kay Lee Ray makes her way to the ring.

Kay Lee says Jinny is funny. I am the NXT UK Women’s Champion because I have beaten everybody put in front of her and she tells ‘sunshine’ that she will be no different.

Jinny says that you might have beaten everyone, but you have never been in the ring with the queen. The funny thing is that you are representing the title. You are not championship material.

Kay Lee tells Jinny to tell it to her face and that there isn’t enough money in the world to fix what I do to you.

Jinny tells Kay Lee that she owes her this match because I helped you keep your championship and you are welcome. Next week, the Queen will reign and you will have nothing to do about it. You have one last week to enjoy as champion.

Jinny leaves the ring with Conners.

We go to a video for Eddie Dennis and The Hunt.
Eddie says some people survive in chaos. Flash and Mark, I thought our issues were resolved but you couldn’t stay out of my business. If the Hunt are going to get back to where they belong, they have to beat you and two other teams in a four way elimination match. Talk about chaos. Some people survive in chaos so they grow. Others thrive in chaos because it is all they know.

We go to commercial.

We are back with a Tale of the Tape for the NXT UK Championship Match between WALTER and A-Kid.

Match Number Three: A-Kid versus WALTER for the NXT UK Championship

WALTER tries to back A-Kid into the corner. A-Kid with a kick to the leg. WALTER backs A-Kid to the ropes. WALTER blocks a kick and takes A-Kid to the mat. WALTER with a heel hook but A-Kid goes for the arm. A-Kid with a front face lock but WALTER backs A-Kid into the corner. A-Kid with a kick to the chest and it makes WALTER angry. A-Kid with a chop in the corner. WALTER with a wrist lock and A-Kid with a waist lock. WALTER with a side head lock take down. A-Kid with a head scissors and WALTER escapes.

A-Kid with more kicks to the leg to weaken WALTER’s base. They go to a Greco Roman Knuckle Lock and WALTER with the advantage and he gets a few near falls but A-Kid bridges. WALTER misses a boot. A-Kid with strikes to WALTER but WALTER kicks A-Kid in the corner and he knocks A-Kid off the turnbuckles but A-Kid with a triangle as he hangs from the ropes.

A-Kid with kicks to the chest and leg that send WALTER to the mat. A-Kid with a knee bar and he applies a single leg crab. WALTER kicks A-Kid away but A-Kid with a kick in the corner. A-Kid with a drop kick and then A-Kid runs into a chop. A-Kid with some strikes but WALTER with a chop and A-Kid is down. WALTER with a Boston Crab into an STF. A-Kid escapes and WALTER with a chop and boot to the chest. WALTER stands on A-Kid’s head. WALTER with a slam.

A-Kid kicks WALTER in the leg and connects with kicks. A-Kid with a forearm but WALTER with a chop for a near fall. WALTER with a rear chin lock. A-Kid gets to his feet and WALTER with a chop and he puts A-Kid on the turnbuckles and chops A-Kid in the chest. WALTER with a forearm across the chest. A-Kid blocks a sleeper and kicks WALTER from the apron. A-Kid with a springboard drop kick to the knee. A-Kid tries for the Fujiwara arm bar but WALTER blocks it. WALTER gets to the ropes to force a break. A-Kid with kicks to the back. A-Kid slaps WALTER but WALTER sends A-Kid to the mat with a slap. WALTER with a kick to the back.

A-Kid with an arm drag and drop kick. WALTER with a running drop kick to A-Kid followed by a power bomb for a near fall. WALTER with a chop and he kicks A-Kid as A-Kid tries to get back to his feet. A-Kid slaps WALTER and he goes for the Omoplata but WALTER is able to avoid it. A-Kid goes for a cross arm breaker but WALTER blocks it. A-Kid with a triangle and WALTER rolls A-Kid to the floor and WALTER with a one arm power bomb onto the apron. WALTER sends A-Kid back into the ring and A-Kid with chops. WALTER with a sleeper and A-Kid blocks it and hits a Pele Kick. WALTER with a clothesline and a chop to the back of the neck followed by another clothesline for the three count.

Winner: WALTER (retains championship)
