DRAGON GATE ANNOUNCES FULL OPEN THE NEW YEAR GATE TOUR LINEUPS, ZERO1 REMOVES FANS FROM ALL JANUARY EVENTS DUE TO COVID-19 AND MORE FROM JAPAN

Dragon Gate has announced the full cards for its Open the New Year Gate 2021 tour shows on January 16 and 17.

The full cards are:

January 16 in Kimassi Kanezawa
• Diamante, H.Y.O and Kaito Ishida vs. Dragon Kid, Ultimo Dragon and Yosuke Santa Maria
• Keisuke Okuda and Shuji Kondo vs. Taketo Kamei and YAMATO
• Bokutimo Dragon, Punch Tominaga and Ryo Saito vs. Genki Horiguchi, Kzy and Susumu Yokosuka
• KAI and KAZMA SAKAMOTO vs. Masaaki Mochizuki and Takashi Yoshida
• BxB Hulk, Dia Inferno, Eita and HipHop Kikuta vs. Jason Lee, Kota Minoura, La Estrella and Shun Skywalker

January 17 in Kobe Sambo Hall

Pro Wrestling ZERO1

Shinjiro Otani and Yumehito Imanari’s defense of the Intercontinental Tag Team Championships against El Lindaman and T-Hawk, previously scheduled to take place at Pro Wrestling ZERO1’s show at Shin-Kiba 1st Ring today, will take place on a show uploaded to TwitCasting on January 17.

The full card for the show is:

• Hartley Jackson and Satsuki Nagao vs. Masato Tanaka and Takuya Sugawara
• Chris Vice and Yoshikazu Yokoyama vs. Hide Kubota and Yasu Kubota
• Shoki Kitamura vs. Takumi Baba
• Intercontinental Tag Team Championships: Shinjiro Otani and Yumehito Imanari (c) vs. El Lindaman and T-Hawk

ZERO1 postponed all shows with live fans in attendance throughout January due to the state of emergency in Tokyo, hence this show airing on TwitCasting. The main event will be Otani and Imanari’s first defense of the titles.

GLEAT has uploaded Issei Onitsuka versus Soma Watanabe onto its YouTube channel.

The next upload will be Watanabe teaming with Kaz Hayashi and Takanori Ito versus #STRONGHEARTS trio CIMA, El Lindaman and T-Hawk. It was be uploaded next Thursday, January 21.

JUST TAP OUT Professional Wrestling

JUST TAP OUT Professional Wrestling will hold a show in Korakuen Hall tomorrow.

The full card is:

• Black Chango, Black Eagle, Black the Dragon and BM vs. Carbell Ito, Eagle Mask, EX Valion and Hyper Brave G-Valion
• Sumikaba Yanagawa vs. YuuRI
• Aki Shizuku and Black R vs. Misa Kagura, rhythm and Tomoka Inaba
• Independent Junior Heavyweight Championship: Shota (c) vs. Arata
• Ren Ayabe vs. Shuji Ishikawa
• Hayato Tamura and Ryuya Takekura vs. KANON and TAKA Michinoku

All Japan Pro Wrestling’s Shuji Ishikawa will face Ren Ayabe on the show.

DDT Pro-Wrestling’s Yuji Hino was scheduled to team with TAKA Michinoku in the main event, but was pulled from the show for unspecified reasons.

The show will also be Hayato Tamura’s last appearance.
