Several readers sent word that on today's NFL coverage on FOX, a commercial for Friday Night Smackdown aired, touting that WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns will again confront WWE Official Adam Pearce, who earned a shot at the Universal title at the Royal Rumble PPV, on this Friday's episode.
Pearce commented on the win via Twitter, writing:
I enjoyed my two decade ride; I honestly loved it. And at the end, I was ready and happy to ride off into the sunset. The “Head of the Table” put the keys back in my hand and forced me to take the wheel. And so, we ride again... https://t.co/0SdPH3VIN4

Previously announced for Smackdown is Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Jey Uso. Nakamura went to the finals of the Gauntlet bout for Universal title shot last night, looking the strongest he has been portrayed as a singles competitor in a long, long time, including an excellent sequence against Daniel Bryan.
