WWE MAIN EVENT REPORT: RICOCHET VERSUS GULAK, SLAPJACK VERSUS TOZAWA, AND MORE

We are in St. Petersburg, Florida and your announcers are Tom Phillips and Samoa Joe.

Match Number One: Akira Tozawa versus Slapjack (with Mustafa Ali)

They lock up and Slapjack with a shoulder and forearm in the corner. Tozawa is sent into the turnbuckles and Tozawa with punches and forearms. Tozawa kicks Slapjack in the back of the leg and Slapjack with an Irish whip but he runs into boots. Tozawa with a head scissors take down followed by a missile drop kick for a near fall. Tozawa kicks Slapjack in the corner and hits a drop kick.

Tozawa goes to the turnbuckles for a tornado DDT but Slapjack blocks it and puts Tozawa back on the turnbuckles and hits a palm strike followed by a suplex from the turnbuckles. Slapjack kicks Tozawa and head butts Tozawa and follows with a suplex for a near fall. Slapjack stands on the hand and then drops a knee on the arm. Slapjack with an arm wringer. Slapjack with an arm wringer. Tozawa with punches and forearms. Slapjack with a neck breaker for a near fall. Tozawa blocks a belly-to-back suplex. Tozawa with a head scissors and Shining Wizard. Tozawa goes up top for the back elbow and he gets a near fall.

Tozawa goes up top and he is distracted by Ali and Slapjack kicks Tozawa and hits Snapback for the three count.

Winner: Slapjack

Match Number Two: Ricochet versus Drew Gulak

Ricochet with a waist lock and Gulak escapes. Ricochet with a single leg take down into a step over toe hold. Gulak escapes and he applies a side head lock. Ricochet with a rollup for a near fall while Gulak holds on to the side head lock. Gulak sends Ricochet into the corner but Ricochet floats over and gets a near fall.

Ricochet with a side head lock. Ricochet tries to float over but Gulak catches Ricochet. Ricochet with a rollup for a near fall. Gulak with a side head lock. Gulak counters a tilt-a-whirl back breaker with an arm drag. Gulak with a single leg take down and Gulak with a rollup for a near fall. Gulak slams Ricochet into the ropes as we go to commercial.

We are back and Gulak with a half straitjacket choke. Ricochet with elbows and Gulak with a forearm. Gulak sends Ricochet to the apron and Ricochet misses a shoulder. Gulak with a kick to the chest and then Gulak tries to slam Ricochet from the apron to the floor but Ricochet gets back into the ring and hits a springboard drop kick that sends Gulak to the floor.

Ricochet sends Gulak over the top rope (and if this was the Royal Rumble he would have been eliminated). Ricochet with a springboard flip onto Gulak on the floor (and that would have eliminted Ricochet if this was the Royal Rumble). Ricochet sends Drew back into the ring and Ricochet misses a springboard move. Ricochet with a back body drop. Drew and Ricochet exchange forearms but Ricochet with a discus clothesline for a near fall.

Ricochet goes up top but Gulak blocks Meteora and rolls through into a single leg crab. Ricochet gets to the ropes to force a break. Gulak gets Ricochet on his shoulders for a torture rack but Ricochet gets back to his feet. Gulak with an elbow and Ricochet with an elbow. Ricochet with a back flip and then hits a German suplex for a near fall.

Ricochet gets Gulak onto his shoulders and Gulak blocks Kickback. Gulak returns to the single leg crab. Gulak pulls Ricochet into the center of the ring and Gulak turns it into an STF. Ricochet rolls over and gets a near fall. Ricochet with Recoil for the three count.

Winner: Ricochet
