BALOR ON WWE LEGENDS, MATCH REMOVED FROM NXT NEW YEAR'S EVIL, WHAT WILL KICK OFF THE BROADCAST

By Mike Johnson on 2021-01-06 10:09:00

NXT Champion Finn Balor did an interview with Metro in the UK, where he discussed Goldberg returning to challenge Drew McIntyre this past week on Raw, commenting, "Doesn’t bother me at all. I believe that everyone has a place in this business, and if you’re on the show, you’re on the show for a reason. ‘If you’re on the show once a year, if you’re on the show every night, that’s down to everybody’s individual circumstance. ‘Those guys have carved out their legacy and proven over the years that they belong on the show. Whether it’s for one night or it’s every night, that doesn’t affect me and it shouldn’t affect anyone else. For me, when the tide comes in, all the ships rise.  If we can have Goldberg on the show, if we can have anyone on the show for one night, I feel it’s better one night than never. I welcome these legends with open arms!"  Thanks to Paul Jordan.

Leon Peters sent word that the official WWE website preview for tonight's edition of WWE NXT New Year's Evil no longer lists the announced Fight Pit bout between Timothy Thatcher and Tomasso Ciampa, so it would appear that match has been pushed back.

Karrion Kross vs. Damian Priest is slated to open tonight's NXT broadcast.

WWE NXT is pushing that tonight's show will have limited interruption.

Senior Director, WWE Content and Development Jeremy Borash announced on 1/1 that he and his longtime girlfriend have become engaged.  Our congratulations to the happy couple:
