WWE MAIN EVENT REPORT: CROSS VERSUS RECKONING, TOZAWA VERSUS GARZA

We begin with the graphic In Memory of Jon Huber.

We are in St. Petersburg, Florida and your announcers are Samoa Joe and Tom Phillips.

We see Nikki Cross on WWE.com talking about how people think she is nothing without Alexa Bliss. She says something is going to change and she will show everyone.

Match Number One: Nikki Cross versus Reckoning (with Mustafa Ali)

They lock up and Reckoning with a clean break. Reckoning sends Nikki to the mat and Nikki hits a cross body and slams Reckoning’s head into the mat. Nikki goes for a monkey flip but Reckoning counters and drops Nikki on the turnbuckles. Reckoning with a punch and Irish whip. Nikki floats over and gets a near fall with a rollup.

Nikki with a double thrust to the throat followed by a drop kick. Nikki goes to the floor when Reckoning drops down. Reckoning with a running boot to Nikki on the floor. Ali tells Reckoning to take out her pain on Cross. They return to the ring and Reckoning gets a near fall. Reckoning with a kick for a near fall. Reckoning with a dragon suplex and bridge for a near fall.

Nikki with a jaw breaker and both go for cross body presses at the same time and both go down hard. Nikki with forearms and short arm clotheslines and a straitjacket neck breaker. Nikki with two seated splashes followed by a cross body into the corner for a near fall. Reckoning backs Nikki into the turnbuckles and Nikki hits a tornado DDT.

Nikki with a swinging neck breaker for the three count.

Match Number Two: Akira Tozawa versus Angel Garza

Tozawa does his ninja prep but Garza throws his pants at Tozawa and Garza kicks Tozawa and hits a running drop kick to the temple. Garza with an arm bar and Tozawa gets to the ropes. Garza with a knee lift and he rakes the eyes on the top rope. Garza with punches in the corner and Garza with a thrust kick.

Garza puts Tozawa on the turnbuckles and Garza with forearms to the back. Garza puts Tozawa in the tree of woe and Garza with a running kick to the chest. Garza gets a near fall. Tozawa sends Garza into the turnbuckles and Tozawa with a forearm from the apron. Tozawa goes up top and is met with a super kick as he comes off the turnbuckles.

Tozawa rolls to the floor as we go to commercial.

We are back and Garza kicks Tozawa in the corner. Garza puts Tozawa in the turnbuckles and Garza with a knee. Garza gets a near fall. Garza with a crossface chicken wing into a camel clutch. Tozawa is able to get to the ropes to force a break. Garza with a punch to the temple and he gets a near fall. Garza with an abdominal stretch and he pulls the leg off the mat to add more pressure. Tozawa with elbows to escape but Garza with a forearm to the back. Tozawa with a rana and Shining Wizard. Tozawa goes up top for a back elbow and connects. Tozawa gets a near fall. Tozawa chases Garza to the floor and Garza with a drop kick to Tozawa as Tozawa returns to the ring. Garza gets a near fall.

Garza with a punch against the ropes followed by a chop. Tozawa with an octopus on Garza. Garza starts to pass out but then he gets a second wind and Tozawa turns it into a head scissors. Garza sends Tozawa to the mat and Tozawa misses a round kick. Garza holds on to the ropes on an O’Connor Roll attempt. Garza with a super kick followed by the Wing Clipper for the three count.

Winner: Angel Garza
