Isami Kodaka defeated Tatsuhiko Yoshino to win BJW Junior Heavyweight Championship. Kodaka’s first challenger will be Kazuki Hashimoto at Big Japan’s show in Korakuen Hall on January 11.

Fuminori Abe and Takuya Nomura made their fifth defense of the BJW Tag Team Championships against Chris Brookes and Drew Parker.

Big Japan will hold a one-night tag team tournament co-promoted with DDT Pro-Wrestling in Korakuen Hall tomorrow. The full card is:

• First round: HARASHIMA and Yuji Okabayashi vs. Yuya Aoki and Yukio Naya
• First round: Akira Hyodo and Makoto Oishi vs. Konosuke Takeshita and Takuya Nomura

Pro Wrestling NOAH

Pro Wrestling NOAH has announced Hajime Ohara will challenge Daisuke Harada for the GHC Junior Heavyweight Championship on the first night of its Higher Ground 2021 tour on January 10 in Korakuen Hall.

It will be Harada’s second defense of the title. The only other announced match for the show is Go Shiozaki, Kaito Kiyomiya, Naomichi Marufuji and Takashi Sugiura versus Katsuhiko Nakajima, Kenoh, Manabu Soya and Masa Kitamiya.

New Japan Pro Wrestling

New Japan Pro Wrestling has uploaded an interview with Shingo Takagi ahead of his NEVER Openweight Championship match against Jeff Cobb at Wrestle Kingdom 15.

Takagi discusses his past record against Cobb, being willing to die for the NEVER Openweight Championship and the similarities to Ibushi versus Naito.

El Phantasmo will debut his new entrance music against Hiromu Takahashi at the first night of Wrestle Kingdom on January 4.
