HIROMU TAKAHASHI TALKS WRESTLE KINGDOM, NOAH HIGHER GROUND ANNOUNCEMENTS AND MORE FROM JAPAN

Pro Wrestling NOAH will hold a show in Korakuen Hall today produced by Sugiura-gun.

The full results were:

Mohammed Yone requested to form a tag team with Shuhei Taniguchi after the second match. Taniguchi accepted.

Hajime Ohara defeated Junta Miyawaki to win the third match. He challenged Daisuke Harada to a GHC Junior Heavyweight Championship match afterwards.

NOAH announced three special matches for its Higher Ground 2021 tour shows in Korakuen Hall on January 10, Yokohama on January 16 and Osaka on January 23. The matches are:

January 10 in Korakuen Hall
• Go Shiozaki, Kaito Kiyomiya, Naomichi Marufuji and Takashi Sugiura vs. Katsuhiko Nakajima, Kenoh, Manabu Soya and Masa Kitamiya

January 16 in Yokohama
• Atsushi Kotoge and Daisuke Harada vs. Go Shiozaki and Naomichi Marufuji

January 23 in Osaka
• Go Shiozaki, Naomichi Marufuji and Takashi Sugiura vs. Kaito Kiyomiya, Kinya Okada and Yoshiki Inamura

Kazunari Murakami wrestled his first match since 2017 in the main event.

Big Japan Pro Wrestling will hold a show in Korakuen Hall tomorrow.

Tatsuhiko Yoshino will attempt his third defense of the BJW Junior Heavyweight Championship against Isami Kodaka. Fuminori Abe and Takuya Nomura will attempt their fifth defense of the BJW Tag Team Championships against Chris Brookes and Drew Parker.

New Japan Pro Wrestling has been uploading a series of interviews in the lead-up to Wrestle Kingdom 15, the most recent of which being Hiromu Takahashi today and Kazuchika Okada yesterday.

Takahashi discussed facing El Desperado in the Best of Super Juniors tournament final, keeping his eye on Lio Rush, his plans for 2021 and more. Okada discussed Will Ospreay’s betrayal, Bullet Club’s interference in main event matches, his thoughts on the double title concept and more.
