Lionheart League Block B Match: Theo Doros vs. Sha Samuels
You can tell Sha is so excited to be back. Lockup and a stalemate with some trash talking in the early going. Doris takes Sha down on the second lockup and they stare eachother down. Another back and forth leads to Samuels taking control. Some big kicks to the side of Doros. Sha with a double axe handle 1-2-no! Lionheart League Block D match: Leyton Buzzard vs. Daz Black
Buzzard cut his hair! Definitely continued the trend of looking physically larger every few months that we all saw during 2019. That man has worked hard on that body. Billy even mentions this says he added almost a stone of muscle to his frame. This guy is ICW’s next big star I said it all through 2019. Leyton takes control early working the arm of Black. Test of strength they end up in a double bridge with back and forth near falls. Leyton feigns a knee injury to take control. Billy mentions it’s out of the norm for Leyton to be in the ring with someone his size but considering the size he has recently put on he may actually be the larger one in this match. Leyton maintains control eventually hits a big dropkick for a nearfall but Black is still in this. Black hits a dropkick and a standing moonsault but only gets a 2 count for his efforts. Impressive athletic prowess shown by Daz. Some strikes from Daz but Leyton hits a backdrop but only gets a 2 count. Buzzard hits a headlock but Daz works his way out, Leyton tries to regain control but gets back body dropped. They go back and forth with big European uppercuts and Daz gets the better of the exchange. Daz with a corner paylay-enziguri combo into a running moonsault 1-2-No! Leyton is alive in this. Elbow to the face, and a superkick from Leyton but again only a 2 count. Dez gets a nearfall with an STO and sets up for a double stomp, but Buzzard with a codebreaker and X marks the spot 1-2-No! Very back and forth encounter here. Only a 20 minute time limit and the time is coming up as Billy eludes to. Buzzard was going to go on the top but decides to grab the chair. Referee takes the chair but Buzzard hits a lowblow it was a distraction. Buzzard hits the sharpshooter for an instant tapout!
Winner: Leyton Buzzard
Buzzard attacks Daz after stomping him out of the ring.
Buzzard is ICW’s next big star. Anyone following the past 2 years knows it. Great back and forth match lack of a crowd of coarse hurt it would have been a hot match though with an audience.
Ian Skinner vs. Dylan Thorn
Back and forth encounter. Thorn with a some impressive offense but Skinner would stay in it. Skinner eventually turns it around and hits a lariat for 3.
Winner: Ian Skinner
Dean Ford vs. Saqib Ali
Back and forth in the early going lots of wristlocks and reversals. Ali works on the arm of Ford. 2 different quick 2 counts Ali on Ford. Ali continues to keep control with a few dropkicks and a 2 count. They begin wrestling on the outside. Ford smashes Ali onto the equipment cases but Ford whips him into the wall. Back in the ring, Ali misses a charge and Ford knocks Ali down for a 2 count. Dean finally mounts some offense. Front face lock and some kicks into the corner. Dean maintains control for a while with nearfalls and answers to Ali’s attempts at offense. ALI finally mounts a comeback smashing him into all four turnbuckles. Ali is fired up. High knee 1-2-NO! Bridge suplex to Dean 1-2-NO! Another near fall. Ali goes for his finish Dean hits what looks like a claymore (running face kick) for a 2 count. Ali with a running knee for 3.
Winner: Saqib Ali
Both men were impressive. Got a ways to go of coarse but impressive outing.
Craig Anthony vs. Kez Evans
Craig wins the first exchange, Mr. Square Go Kez Evans takes the second. They go back and forth Craig Anthony takes control shortly until Evans hits an elbow and stomps him out. More back and forth until evans hits a monster clothesline. 1-2-NO! IT’s early but I am actually surprised what a clothesline. Simon and Billy put it over as well. Evans does the stomp on the knees, ankles, all over spot. Gets a 2 count on a pin attempt. Evans continues to dominate but Anthony starts to mount a comeback. Gets a 2 count with a suplex. Eventually Evans knocks Anthony off of the ropes and works him around the outside knocking him into different items on the outside. Anthony with a backflip on an equipment case which looked awesome. They go back in the ring Anthony hits a knee to the jaw but cannot get to Evans quick enough to get a pinfall attempt. Evans catches him off a moonsault attempt and ends up in the Kez Clutch. ANOTHER Tapout! That’s 3 tonight
Winner: Kez Evans
Evans continues to build his momentum from the Square go and Anthony showcased his skills.
Lionheart League Block C Match: BT Gunn vs. Jack Morris
Gunn is growing his hair back out which I popped for and makes up for Leyton’s cut to me. Many lockup attempts and back and forths eventually lead to Gunn getting control and working the arm. The match was very back and forth overall both men had short offense runs. Eventually Morris hits a shooting star press and was shocked he only got a 2 count. He missed a standing moonsault and BT Gunn hits the Technodrome for the 3 count.
Winner: BT Gunn
Good back and forth didn’t really pick up out of 2nd gear but it wasn’t designed to. Entertaining back and forth outing.
Next week is a loaded card concluding group C of the Lionheart league including a Jack Jester vs. BT Gunn match and Daz Black vs. Sha Samuels, and Theo Doris vs. Leyton Buzzard.
