WWE NXT REPORT: TAG TITLE MATCH, COLE VERSUS DREAM, KAI VERSUS RIPLEY, FIGHT PIT IS COMING BACK, AND MORE

We are in the Capitol Wrestling Centre and your announcers are Wade Barrett, Vic Joseph, and Beth Phoenix.

Match Number One:  Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan versus Drake Maverick and Killian Dain in a Street Fight for the NXT Tag Team Championships

Dain and Maverick attack Lorcan and Burch from behind as the champions make their way to the ring.  Drake sends Lorcan into the stage while Burch is sent into the ring steps by Dain.  Dain gets a table and Drake hits Lorcan in the ribs with a chair.  Lorcan and Burch are able to get back into the match while Dain and Drake get plunder set up.  Lorcan and Burch send Dain into the fencing.  Dain is sent back into the ring and Burch kicks and chokes Dain in the corner.  Lorcan tags in and he chokes Dain and connects with a European uppercut.  Burch tags in and punches Dain while Lorcan sets up chairs in the ring.  Burch and Lorcan are pushed away and Dain back drops Lorcan onto the chairs.  Dain clotheslines Burch.

Daiin hits Burch in the back with a chair and Drake tags in.  Drake trips Burch and Dain with a back senton.  Dain slams Burch and then he slams Maverick onto Burch.  Dain gets Drake on his shoulders and Drake kicks Burch away.  Dain with an Irish whip to Lorcan.  Drake with a splash iinto the corner followed by an elbow form Dain.  Drake goes to the apron and they hit a double kick combination on Lorcan and Drake gets a near fall.  Burch with a head butt to the midsection and European uppercut to Drake.  Burch and Drake avoid getting sent into the turnbuckles.  Burch with a clothesline to Drake while Dain and Lorcan fight on the floor.  Lorcan with a blockbuster on the floor.

Drake is sent face first into a chair with a drop toe hold.  Burch and Lorcan work over Dain on the floor and they set up a table against the ringside barrier.  Burch is sent into the penalty box area while Dain tries to send Lorcan into the table.  Dain blocks a suplex through the table.  Dain with a bicycle kick and he misses a shoulder and goes through the table.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Lorcan has a belt and he stands over Maverick.  Lorcan whips Maverick in the back with the belt.  Lorcan whips Maverick in the chest.  Burch tags in and is given the belt.  Burch whips Maverick in the back with the belt.  Burch with another belt shot to Drake's back.  Lorcan tags in and they Irish whip Drake.  Lorcan and Burch chop Drake and then they Irish whip him into the corner again.  Dain gets back on the apron and he tags in and clotheslines Lorcan and Burch.  Dain with overhead belly-to-belly suplexes to Burch and Lorcan followed by splashes to both men.  Dain punches Lorcan.  Dain kicks Burch and hits a power bomb and an elbow drop.

Drake tags in and Dain gets Lorcan on his shoulders but Burch makes the save.  Burch and Lorcan push Dain off the apron and he bounces off the tables.  Lorcan has the belt and he whips Maverick with it.  Drake with a low blow to Lorcan and a back heel kick to the ding ding to Burch.  Drake gets his belt back and he whips Burch and Lorcan with it many times.  Drake whips Burch many times and then he punches Lorcan.  Lorcan with a low blow to Drake.  Burch hits Drake with the cricket bat and they hit the elevated DDT for the three count.

Winners:  Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan (retain championship)

We go to the Garganos, Austin Theory, and Indi Hartwell at the Gargano house.

We see the preparations for Christmas while Johnny plays the piano.  He says they don't need Elf on a Shelf, they have Gargano on a Piano.  We see Indi and Austin around the tree.  Candice says she is so happy they can all be together.  Indi says she is impressed that they could do all of this.  Austin says No Way Jose and Johnny tells Austin never to say that name and he tells him to put his cookie down.

Austin opens his present and it is protein powder and Candice says it is the Gargano Whey Powder.  Austin asks if he will be like Johnny in the ring.

We go to commercial.

We are back with a look back at Kyle O'Reilly versus Finn Balor from Takeover.

Kyle says Finn is good and it is funny because you come across an opponent who you feel you were born to wrestle.  Is Finn the Gargano to his Adam Cole, but we will see.  They are destined to do this for a long time.  Finn says when the bell rings, you have nowhere to hide and you know everything about your opponent.  Are they afraid?  He says he knows that Kyle is confident and Kyle makes him feel alive.

Kyle says nothing was easy in that match.  It was a struggle.  Finn mentions the moment that Finn kicked Kyle in the ribs.  He says he felt the air go out of his body and he says it pisses him off to watch it again.  Finn says he knew exactly what he was doing.  Kyle says it was the most pain he ever felt in the ring.  Kyle says he would have probably done the same thing.  He knew it would be hard to come back but he felt it.  Kyle says that knee put three metal plates in your jaw.  Finn says that is what everyone remembers, but he won the match.  They only remember that you broke my jaw.

Kyle says there will be a difference this time.  Finn says there will be no trilogy.  Kyle says the first time I broke your jaw, at New Year's Evil, I shatter your legacy.

Tyler Rust is in the locker room with Malcolm Bivens and Malcolm asks McKenzie who else has taken a champion like Tommaso Ciampa to the limit?  He says that he will show that Tyler is a Diamond in the Rust by his side.

Match Number Two:  Isaiah Scott versus Jake Atlas

They lock up and Atlas backs Scott into the corner and Atlas with a clean break.  Scott with a front face lock and a rollup for a near fall.  Atlas pushes Scott and Scott says he likes that.  Scott misses a punch and Atlas with a punch to Scott.  Scott with punches in the corner followed by kicks and the referee pulls Scott out of the corner.  Atlas with kicks and Scott with a single leg take down and he rubs his forearm against the jaw.  Atlas with a take down and front face lock.  Scott holds on to the ropes when Atlas drops down.  Atlas blocks a kick and hits a dragon screw leg whip and Scott goes to the floor.

Scott with a leg sweep and he takes Atlas down.  Scott goes to the floor but Atlas with a springboad drop kick to knock Scott off the apron.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Scott with forearms and he grabs the leg.  Scott slaps Atlas but Atlas kicks Scott away and hits a Code Red for a near fall.  Atlas wit a matrix to avoid Scott followed by a cutter.  Atlas goes for the rainbow DDT but Scott with a super kick to Atlas and Jake goes to the floor. Scott with a kick from the apron and then they return to the ring.  Scott with a tilt-a-whirl slam followed by a suplex for a near fall.  Scott sends Atlas into the turnbuckles and Scott puts Atlas on the top turnbuckle.  Scott goes for a superplex but Atlas with elbows and he goes to the apron and kicks Scott.  Atlas with a super poisonrana but Scott lands on his feet.

Scott with kicks but Atlas with a round kick.  Scott with a leg sweep and kick to the back of the head.  Scott with a rollup but Atlas counters.  Atlas goes for an O'Connor Roll.  Scott with an elbow to Atlas and Scott with the Confidence Boost for the three count.

Winner:  Isaiah Scott

After the match, Scott offers his hand to Atlas but Atlas refuses this time.

Adam Cole and Roderick Strong are in the back and McKenzie asks them about Kyle's chance at New Year's Evil.  Adam says that Kyle has changed since that match and the result will be different.  Roddy says that Kool Kyle showed who he was when he beat that dork Peter Doone.

Velveteen Dream shows up and he says the mighty have fallen.  He says that Adam Cole is no longer the head of the Undisputed Era, it is Kyle O'Reilly.  Dream says that Cole is a cheerleader.

Cole slaps Dream and says there is no leader in the Undisputed Era and he will show Dream later tonight.

We see Rhea Ripley walking in the back and we also see Dakota Kai walking in the back.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Timothy Thatcher appreciates Tommaso Ciampa wanting to fight him and coming to his face.  You tried to take my ear while I tried to take your neck.  I came to the ring to ask you for a fight and you walked away.  I get dragged out of the arena with no respect.  You don't like people who talk with their mouths and are tough guys.  I will take liberties with Leon Ruff and if you are the man you say you are, you will come down and stop me.  I want a fight with you.

Match Number Three:  Dakota Kai versus Rhea Ripley

They lock up and Rhea backs Kai into the corner and Rhea with a clean break but she swings and misses.  Kai kicks Ripley in the leg and Ripley misses a few punches but Kai goes for the legs and Rhea stays on her feet and she picks up Kai and swings her around and drops her to the mat.  Ripley with a forearm and hard Irish whip.  Kai goes to the floor and then tries to kick Ripley from the apron but Ripley blocks it and gets Kai on her shoulders but Kai lands on her feet on the apron.  Kai kicks Ripley in the shoulder and sends Ripley into the ring post.

Kai kicks Ripley when she returns to the ring.  Kai with a double wrist lock.  Kai pulls Ripley to the mat by the hair and gets a near fall.  Kai with a hammer lock and she sends Ripley shoulder first into the turnbuckles.  Kai chokes Ripley.  Ripley with punches and Kai with forearms to the back followed by an arm wringer to send Ripley to the mat.  Kai gets a near fall.  Ripley kicks Kai away but Kai with a kick to the shoulder.  Kai with an axe kick.  Ripley with a rollup for a near fall.

Kai with a clothesline for a near fall.  Kai returns to the arm and Ripley tries to block it.  Kai with a short arm scissors.  Ripley is able to escape but Kai with a cross arm breaker.  Ripley gets a near fall and then she picks up Kai for a one arm power bomb.  Ripley with clotheslines and knees to the head.  Ripley with a snap mare and drop kick to the back.  Kai misses a bicycle kick and Ripley with a drop kick followed by a back heel kick and face plant from an atomic drop set up.  Ripley gets a near fall.
