NEW JAPAN PRO WRESTLING ANNOUNCES COMPLETE WRESTLE KINGDOM 2021 LINEUPS AND MORE FROM JAPAN

New Japan Pro Wrestling held a press conference today to announce the full cards for both nights of Wrestle Kingdom 15 on January 4 and 5.

The full cards are:

January 4
• 22-man New Japan Ranbo
• El Phantasmo vs. Hiromu Takahashi
• IWGP Tag Team Championships: Taichi and Zack Sabre Jr. (c) vs. Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa
• IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship challenge rights certificate briefcase: KENTA (c) vs. Juice Robinson
• Great-O-Khan vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi
• Kazuchika Okada vs. Will Ospreay
• IWGP Heavyweight Championship and IWGP Intercontinental Championship: Tetsuya Naito (c) vs. Kota Ibushi

January 5
• KOPW 2021 four-way
• IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championships: El Desperado and Yoshinobu Kanemaru (c) vs. Master Wato and Ryusuke Taguchi
• NEVER Openweight Championship: Shingo Takagi (c) vs. Jeff Cobb
• EVIL vs. SANADA
• IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship: Taiji Ishimori (c) vs. El Phantasmo/Hiromu Takahashi

The final four men remaining in the 22-man New Japan Ranbo on January 4 will advance to the KOPW 2021 four-way on January 5.

However, only hours after the press conference, New Japan announced Juice Robinson would miss today’s Road to Tokyo Dome show and Wrestle Kingdom due to a fractured orbital bone. Instead, it seems Satoshi Kojima will challenge KENTA for the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship challenge rights certificate briefcase.

As mentioned, New Japan held its seventh and final Road to Tokyo Dome tour show in Korakuen Hall today. The full results were:

• Master Wato, Ryusuke Taguchi and Tiger Mask def. Gabriel Kidd, Yota Tsuji and Yuya Uemura
• Hiromu Takahashi, SANADA and Shingo Takagi def. Dick Togo, EVIL and Taiji Ishimori
• KOPW 2020 Bodyslam or Last Cornerpad match: Toru Yano (c) def. Bad Luck Fale
• Jay White and KENTA def. Satoshi Kojima and Toa Henare
• Great-O-Khan, Jeff Cobb and Will Ospreay def. Hiroshi Tanahashi, Kazuchika Okada and Tomoaki Honma
• BUSHI and Tetsuya Naito vs. Kota Ibushi and SHO

After the fourth match, Kojima challenged KENTA.

Big Japan Pro Wrestling

Big Japan Pro Wrestling held a show in Shin-Kiba 1st Ring today.

The full results were:

• Takuho Kato and Yuya Aoki def. Kosuke Sato and Takuya Nomura
• Daichi Hashimoto, Hideyoshi Kamitani and Yasufumi Nakanoue def. Akira Hyodo, Kazumi Kikuta and Ryuichi Kawakami
• Isami Kodaka and Masaki Morihiro def. Kota Sekifuda and Tatsuhiko Yoshino
• Masaya Takahashi, Toshiyuki Sakuda and Yuki Ishikawa def. Abdullah Kobayashi, Jaki Numazawa and Kankuro Hoshino
• Daisuke Sekimoto and Ryuji Ito def. Brahman Kei and Brahman Shu
• Deathmatch: Masashi Takeda def. Drew Parker

Yuji Okabayashi, who was scheduled to compete in the second match on the card, was removed from the show due to an eye infection.

Big Japan has announced the full card for its January 2 show in Korakuen Hall.

The full card is:

• Kazuki Hashimoto and Kosuke Sato vs. Kota Sekifuda and Tatsuhiko Yoshino
• Kazumi Kikuta and Ryuichi Kawakami vs. Takuya Nomura and Yuya Aoki
• Abdullah Kobayashi, Kuma Arashi and Ryota Hama vs. Daichi Hashimoto, Daisuke Sekimoto and Takuho Kato
• Hardcore: Akira Hyodo, Hideyoshi Kamitani and Kankuro Hoshino vs. Drew Parker, Jaki Numazawa and Masaya Takahashi
• Deathmatch: Isami Kodaka, Masashi Takeda and Yuko Miyamoto vs. Ryuji Ito, Shunma Katsumata and Yuki Ishikawa
• BJW World Strong Heavyweight Championship: Yuji Okabayashi (c) vs. Yasufumi Nakanoue
• BJW Deathmatch Heavyweight Championship: Minoru Fujita (c) vs. Takumi Tsukamoto

All Japan Pro Wrestling’s Kuma Arashi, who will team with Abdullah Kobayashi and Ryota Hama against Daichi Hashimoto, Daisuke Sekimoto and Takuho Kato, is also scheduled to wrestle on All Japan’s New Years Wars show on the same day. However, there is no conflict as All Japan’s show starts at 11:30am and Big Japan’s show starts at 6:30pm. Takuya Nomura is also scheduled to wrestle on both shows.

Okabayashi will make his third defense of the BJW World Strong Heavyweight Championship against Yasufumi Nakanoue. Minoru Fujita will make his fourth defense of the BJW Deathmatch Heavyweight Championship against Takumi Tsukamoto in the main event.

DDT Pro-Wrestling

After leaving Pro Wrestling ZERO1 last month, Yuji Hino debuted as the newest member of DDT Pro-Wrestling faction DAMNATION today. Daisuke Sasaki announced Hino will also appear at DDT’s show in Korakuen Hall on December 27.

Before then however, DDT will hold a show in Kitazawa tomorrow. The full card is:
