12/22/20 Results for New Japan Road to Tokyo Dome from Korakuen Hall, Tokyo, Japan

Tomoaki Honma and Toru Yano vs. Chase Owens vs. Bad Luck Fale.  Owens pinned Honma with a Package Piledriver.   Owens and Fale tried again to destroy Yano’s KOPW trophy but Yano retrieved it and took a beating for it.   Toru Yano will face Bad Luck Fale for the KOPW title tomorrow.

Master Wato, Ryusuke Taguchi and Hiroyoshi Tenzan vs. Yoshinobu Kanemaru, El Desperado and Minoru Suzuki.  Taguchi pins Kanemaru with a roll up after a low blow.   The Jr. Tag Champions get pinned on consecutive nights.   Master Wato and Ryusuke Taguchi will most likely get a title shot.

DOUKI, Zack Sabre Jr. and Taichi vs. Yujiro Takahashi, Tanga Loa and Tama Tonga, with Jado.  Tanga Loa pinned DOUKI with a sit down piledriver.  Guerrillas of Destiny attacked the tag champions after the match.   Tama Tonga put the scorpion death lock on ZSJ.   Tanga Loa applied the Operation Jado Killer on Taichi.  Bullet Club layed a beat down on the champions.

Hiromu Takahashi, Tetsuya Naito and SANADA vs. Taiji Ishimori, Dick Togo and EVIL.  Wild fun match!    SANADA hit a version of Everything is Evil on EVIL, then trapped him in Skull End.    Naito hit Destino on Togo and got the pin.  SANADA refused to release EVIL from Skull End as the young lions jumped in the ring to break them up.  Los Ingobernales de Japon fought off the young lions and EVIL passed out in Skull End.

BUSHI and Shingo Takagi vs. Great O-Khan and Jeff Cobb.  Will Ospreay and Bea Priestley accompanied his teammates to the ring.  Good fun match!   Cobb hit Tour of the Islands on Takagi and hit one on BUSHI for a pinfall win.    BUSHI was getting thrown around like a rag doll by these monsters.    Takagi hit a wheelbarrow suplex on Cobb which was insane.   Cobb vs. Takagi for NEVER Openweight Championship should be awesome.

SHO, Juice Robinson and Kota Ibushi vs. Gedo, KENTA and Jay White.  White pins SHO after a Bladerunner.  Solid main event.    KENTA knocks out Juice after the match with the red briefcase.   KENTA takes the mic and accepts Juice Robinson’s challenges at Wrestle Kingdom.  White teases Ibushi who chases Bullet Club out of the ring.    Kota Ibushi will have to beat Tetsuya Naito on Night One and Jay White on Night Two to earn his Double Championship dream.  In the interview area, White tells Ibushi if he makes it to Night Two, he will lose to the Switchblade for the fourth time in a row.
