RING OF HONOR NEWS AND NOTES COMING OUT OF FINAL BATTLE

Lucha legend Bestia del Ring, the father of ROH Champion Rush and TV Champion Dragon Lee, debuted during the main event of this past Friday's Final Battle PPV, helping Rush retain against Brody Lee.  There's no way ROH would have him debut if Rush and Lee were exiting, so they have obviously come to terms on some sort of deal going forward.  ROH COO Joe Koff told PWInsider that discussions were ongoing last week.  Los Ingobernables vs. The Foundation was the big tease at the end of the PPV.

While it was presented as live, Joe Koff confirmed last week that Final Battle was taped, live to tape.  The show was filmed a week before the PPV aired.  The Jonathan Gresham vs. Flip Gordon match for the Pure title is an absolute must see, but the majority of the show was very good to excellent and is worth checking out.  ROH is selling a signed poster from the show for $50 at this link.

Maria Kanellis has officially returned to the promotion.  The storyline coming out of Final Battle is that Mike Bennett suffered a hairline fracture of his ankle from the attack by The Righteous at the PPV.

The latest edition of the ROH Strong podcast features Cary Silkin.

ROH is also selling replica Octopus masks for Jonathan Gresham for $100.

The lastest episode of ROH TV, which will debut tonight on FITE.TV, features Kenny King vs. LSG a to rend Dalton Castle vs. Brian Johnson.

Dannhausen has "officially" signed with ROH after beating Johnson by DQ at Final Battle.
