WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair stated WWE is in the process of building a physical Hall of Fame in Orlando, Florida during an interview yesterday with ESPN's Rachel Nichols on The Jump. Flair stated that WWE had purchased one of his robes for permanent display but that the process of opening the Hall had been understandably delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Orlando has been discussed numerous times over the years as a potential home for the WWE Hall of Fame, both as a walk-through attraction at Universal Studios Orlando (which hosted a similar attraction based around comedian Lucille Ball in the past) and as a potential attraction for Orlando's International Drive, which hosts numerous attractions.
In asking around this morning, PWInsider.com sources stated that there has been no updates beyond what has been discussed in the past about potential plans and that there's currently nothing on the horizon that would indicate anything different. So, if you are hoping for some sort of announcement in the near future, don't expect it to be forthcoming anytime soon.
