CAPITAL REGION TO HOST IPWHF HALL OF FAME WEEKEND

 

ALBANY, NEW YORK - The International Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame is extremely excited to announce that Albany and the Capital Region will host the 2021 IPWHF Hall of Fame Weekend; 27-28 August 2021.

The celebration will consist of "Meet and Greets" with pro wrestling stars of yesterday and today and a live event scheduled for 27 August at the "Dome" in Watervliet, NY. The induction ceremony is slated for Saturday evening August 28 at the Desmond Hotel; 660 Albany-Shaker Rd. Albany.

24 honorees were chosen by a select group of respected industry insiders and historians based on the nominee's contributions and impact in the Pro Wrestling industry.  Honorees include legends such as "Nature Boy" Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan along with international superstars such as Japanese legend Antonio Inoki and Lucha Libre innovator Mil Mascaras.  The complete list of honorees can be found on the IPWHF website:  http://www.prowrestlinghall.org.

Ticket and hotel information will be made available to the public in the coming weeks.
