AEW CASINO: KAMAGAMES PLANS TO DEVELOP GAMES DOUBLE OR NOTHING SOCIAL CASINO

Are you into gambling? Or, perhaps, an All Elite Wrestling (AEW) fan? If the answer is ‘yes’ to at least one of these questions, there is good news for you. One of the biggest professional wrestling promotions globally, AEW, is partnering with a social-network game developer KamaGames to surprise fans with something new - cue AEW Casino: Double or Nothing.

What’s a Social Casino?

A social casino is exactly what the term suggests. Normally, it is an app or website where you can play games of chance (primarily table games like baccarat, roulette, poker, and blackjack) not alone but with other players. The main benefit of a social casino compared to a live dealer casino is that you are not playing with strangers. Instead, you get to set up a game with your real-life friends to make the experience resemble a normal casino night out as much as possible. This interactive element is what makes social casinos more engaging than other forms of iGaming.

At the same time, if you are hoping to have it all, don’t. Most social casinos are fun and a great way to bond with your friends. But the problem is you can’t actually gamble with real money in them. Social casinos are for entertainment purposes only and are not really considered gambling. You get to chat with your fellow players but can’t win anything. AEW is constantly creating something else to engage the audience. Because of the informational overload, everyone’s attention span is at its lowest now, so content creators and show organizers have to get creative to ensure high viewer retention. AEW is no exception. The promotion has recently announced that it will be pairing with KamaGames to develop a social casino that is going to become part of the AEW activity. 

KamaGames is not a random choice - it is a well-known game developer and the largest European social mobile poker operator. Some of KamaGames’ products are Pokerist: Texas Poker, Rouletist, and Manchester United Social Roulette. KamaGames specializes in social-network games, and AEW Casino: Double or Nothing will be its next baby.

What Is AEW Casino: Double or Nothing Going to Be Like?

It will be a console game that AEW decided to develop after fans’ numerous requests. At this point, it is hard to answer the question of what the game will be like because the project is still in the works and will not be launched until late 2021. According to Andrey Kuznetsov, CEO of KamaGames, the parties are still cementing the details, yet “It’s going to be cool to see our fans enjoying a next-gen console wrestling game that actually implements their feedback. This is just the beginning of a new era of gaming for wrestling fans around the world.” All fans of gambling, social casinos, and AEW will just have to wait a little longer.
