Pro Wrestling FREEDOMS held a show in Shin-Kiba 1st Ring today.

The full results were:

• Tatsuhito Takaiwa def. Kengo
• Dragon Libre and Yuya Susumu def. Kamui and Minoru Fujita
• GENTARO, Mammoth Sasaki and Violento Jack def. Alejandro, Brahman Kei and Brahman Shu via DQ
• Deathmatch: Toshiyuki Sakuda def. Rina Yamashita
• Deathmatch: Jun Kasai, Kenji Fukimoto and Masashi Takeda vs. Takashi Sasaki, Tomoya Hirata and Toru Sugiura

Yuya Susumu pinned Minoru Fujita in the second match. The result has interesting cross-promotional implications as Susumu recently joined Pro Wrestling NOAH and Fujita holds the BJW Deathmatch Heavyweight Championship. Fujita will face Susumu in a non-title singles match at Blood X’Mas in Korakuen Hall on December 25.

GENTARO, Mammoth Sasaki and Violento Jack defeated Alejandro, Brahman Kei and Brahman Shu via disqualification after Jack was unmasked. Outraged, Jack decided he and Sasaki will defend the King Of FREEDOM Tag Team Championships against the Brahman Brothers at Blood X’Mas.

Toshiyuki Sakuda defeated Rina Yamashita. Jun Kasai came to Yamashita’s aid after the match, but Sakuda brought out Takayuki Ueki and challenged Kasai to a tag team match at Blood X’Mas.

Masashi Takeda submitted Toru Sugiura in the main event. As decided last month, Takeda will challenge Sugiura for the King Of FREEDOM World Championship at Blood X’Mas.

Takeda unsuccessfully challenged Sugiura for the championship on July 28. The match ended early due to referee stoppage after Takeda suffered significant blood loss from a gash on his arm.

A rematch was scheduled for FREEDOMS show in Korakuen Hall on August 31. However, it was cancelled as Takeda needed more time to heal following surgery to remove light tube pieces from his arm.

Sugiura has made six successful defenses of the King Of FREEDOM World Championship. If he defeats Takeda on Christmas Day, he will break the record for the most successful defenses in a single reign.
