WWE STARS TO APPEAR IN PUNKY BREWSTER REBOOT

Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss are filming scenes for an episode of the revived Punky Brewster series for Peacock. 

The original version of the series featured a young girl and her dog, who were abandoned by her mother, taken in and cared for by Henry, an older man.  The revived version of the series will see the grown-up version of Punky, played again by Soliel Moon-Frye now in the position to do the same for another girl.

WWE Producer D-Von Dudley is also on set for the series, which likely means there will be some physical action involved.

The series will debut in 2021 for NBC Universal's Peacock streaming service.
