NJPW STRONG REPORT: TEN MAN ELIMINATION TAG MATCH FEATURING BULLET CLUB, AND MORE

We are in Los Angeles, California and your announcers are Shigeki Kiyono and Katsuyori Shibata (in Japanese) or Kevin Kelly and Alex Koslov (in English).

Kevin and Alex talk about the elimination tag match that will be tonight’s main event.

Match Number One: DKC (with Clark Connors) versus Sterling Riegel (with Logan Riegel)

They lock up and Riegel goes for the leg but DKC backs Riegel into the ropes. DKC goes for the leg and Riegel with a take down into a front face lock. DKC with an escape and waist lock. Riegel returns to the front face lock. DKC with an arm bar into a double wrist lock. Riegel with a head scissors and DKC escapes.

DKC with a side head lock but Riegel with a side head lock take down. DKC with a rollup for a near fall. DKC goes for a triangle and Riegel gets to the ropes. Riegel sends DKC over the top rope to the floor when DKC charges into the corner. Riegel with a suicide dive. Riegel goes up top and hits a missile drop kick for a near fall.

Riegel kicks DKC and then connects with elbows to the top of the head. Riegel with shoulders in the corner and he gets a near fall. Riegel with a reverse chin lock. Riegel goes up top for a moonsault but lands on his feet when DKC moves. DKC with punches to Riegel and he gets a near fall. Riegel with forearms to the back followed by a double stomp and moonsault for a near fall.

Riegel with a slam and he goes to the turnbuckles but DKC catches Riegel and goes for an arm bar. DKC with a Cobra Stretch but Riegel rolls over to get the three count.

Winner: Sterling Riegel

After the match, DKC and Logan Riegel push each other before Connors pulls DKC away and Sterling pulls Logan away.

Logan and Sterling are in the back and Logan says this guy hasn’t had a singles match in six months and Sterling says he got the win. We can’t do what we do and go out there and kill it without quality opponents. DKC and Clark Connors, we respect the hell out of you guys, but we are a tag team and you are not. It will show so bring your A Game.

Match Number Two: Alex Zayne versus Blake Christian

They lock up and Zayne with a side head lock and Christian with a shoulder tackle. Christian with a victory roll. Zayne with a sunset flip for a near fall. Zayne misses a shooting star press but Christian misses a boot against the ropes. Zayne with a slingshot senton and moonsault for a near fall. Zayne with a kick. Christian with a leg sweep and a double stomp followed by a moonsault for a near fall.

Christian with a forearm and kick. Christian goes to the floor when Zayne ducks down. Zayne goes to the floor but Christian returns to the ring and Christian with a plancha into a rana on the floor. They return to the ring and Zayne with a round kick as Christian tries a springboard move and Zayne gets a near fall. Zayne with a rear chin lock. Christian with a handspring back elbow for a near fall. Christian with kicks to the back and chest followed by a drop kick for a near fall. Zayne with a sunset flip off the turnbuckles and a somersault leg drop for a near fall. Christian with a poisonrana.

Zayne with forearms and chops. Christian misses a springboard move but hits a DDT and 450 splash for a near fall. Zayne blocks a suplex. Christian kicks Zayne from the corner and Zayne with a jumping Frankensteiner followed by a shooting star double stomp for a near fall. Christian with a rollup for a near fall. Zayne with a near fall. Zayne with a wrist clutch driver for the three count.

Winner: Alex Zayne

After the match, Zayne says Blake Christian takes him to the limit every time, but when he gets there, he always finds a way. We have been everywhere and you seem to find something new. I have to be on my toes. I am a lot more than on my toes. I found my footing in New Japan and I will not let it go.

We go to a Cleaning and Disinfecting Break.

Match Number Three: KENTA, Hikuleo, Jay White, Tama Tonga, and Tanga Loa versus ACH, Juice Robinson, Brody King, Karl Fredericks, and David Finlay in an Elimination Match

The bell rings and Hikuleo and King start things off. The rest of Bullet Club attack King from behind and Hikuleo knocks everyone off the apron. Bullet Club tries to eliminate King but he is saved by his partners, who end up eliminating Hikuleo. Bullet Club discusses strategy before returning to the ring.

Finlay tags in so White enters. Finlay with a drop kick and wrist lock. Robinson tags in and hits a double sledge off the turnbuckles. ACH tags in and does the same. Fredericks tags in and does the same. King with a double sledge to the arm. Finlay tags in and completes the circuit. White with an Irish whip and Finlay floats over but KENTA with a kick to the back and White pulls Finlay to the mat.

Tama drops Finlay on the middle rope. White with kicks and Tanga tags in. Tanga with a slam and Tama with a slingshot senton. Tanga with a senton of his own and he punches Finlay to keep him from making the tag. KENTA tags in and he kicks Finlay in the ribs. KENTA slams Finlay’s arm into the mat and Irish whips Finlay hard into the corner.

White tags in and he sends Finlay to the apron and kicks him. Finlay avoids being sent over the top rope. Tanga tags in and punches Finlay. Tama tags in and Tama with a punch followed by a punch from Tanga and a jumping neck breaker from Tama for a near fall. Tanga tags in and Finlay with a back elbow and European uppercut. ACH tags in and so does White. ACH with a drop kick to the knee and then to the head.

White with an elbow but ACH with a drop kick and Fisherman’s suplex for a near fall. ACH with a waist lock but White with elbows. White goes to the apron and he drops ACH on the top rope and follows with a DDT. KENTA tags in and ACH with a rana and Fredericks tags in. KENTA with a kick but Fredericks with a drop kick. Fredericks with a back breaker to Tanga followed by an elbow to KENTA followed by more forearms. Fredericks with a drop kick into the corner followed by a suplex on Tama.

KENTA gets Fredericks up but Fredericks with elbows to get back to his feet. Fredericks is thrown over the top rope by White. Tama tags in and KENTA runs into a boot. Robinson blocks Gun Stun and punches Tama and follows with a DDT. Robinson with a clothesline and cannonball. Robinson gets a near fall. Robinson gets Tama up but Tama with elbows and Robinson is sent to the apron and he skins the cat until Tama drop kicks him in the back to eliminate Robinson.

ACH sends Tama over the top rope to eliminate him. White sends ACH to the apron and Tama pulls ACH off the apron that the referee does not see, but he allows the elimination. Finlay with a cutter and he clotheslines White over the top rope to eliminate him. Finlay’s momentum sends him to the apron and Tanga eliminates Finlay by sending him to the floor.

King with forearms to Tanga and he follows with an Irish whip and clothesline. King with a clothesline and KENTA breaks up the cover. KENTA with punches and kicks. King kicks Tanga and gives KENTA a forearm. King runs into a boot but King clotheslines Tanga over the top rope to eliminate him. KENTA with a running boot to King and he tries a second time.

King with a clothesline and Ganso Bomb for the three count.

Winners: Brody King, Karl Fredericks, David Finlay, ACH, and Juice Robinson

Brody King is in the back and he says that is what you call a statement. KENTA, the way I see it, I am next in line for that briefcase. Prepare for violence.
