12/2 NJPW BEST OF SUPER JUNIORS RESULTS FROM OSAKA, JAPAN

12/2 Results from New Japan Best of Super Jr. 27 from Osaka, Japan

Tomoaki Honma and Satoshi Kojima vs. Gabriel Kidd and Yota Tsuji.  Kojima pins Kidd with a lariat.

Best of Super Jr. 27 matches:

Yuya Uemura vs. DOUKI.  Big match for both men without a win in the tournament.  DOUKI pins Uemura with a Suplex De La Luna. Great match!   Uemura almost forced a submission with a Boston Crab.   Uemura blocked a Daybreaker by DOUKI and hit a double over hook suplex which was impressive.  Glad that DOUKI finally earned a win.   Uemura also had an impressive tournament despite his losses.

Ryusuke Taguchi vs. Robbie Eagles.  Eagles forces Taguchi to tap out to the Ron Miller Special.   Fine match.   Lots of comedy from Taguchi.

Master Wato, with Hiroyoshi Tenzan vs. BUSHI.  BUSHI pins Wato after a Canadian Destroyer and an MX.    Good match.   

Taiji Ishimori vs. El Desperado.  Fantastic technical match!   Ishimori attacked the left arm of Desperado.   Desperado attacked the left leg of Ishimori.   Both men fought hard and were screaming so loud when they were in submission holds.    Desperado pins Ishimori with Pinche Loco.   Big win for El Desperado!   He pinned the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Champion and may be in line for a future title shot.   Desperado also submitted Hiromu Takahashi earlier in the tournament. This win also puts him in the lead in the tournament with 10 points, tied with Ishimori and Hiromu Takahashi.

SHO vs. Hiromu Takahashi.  SHO has his neck and shoulders taped up.   SHO pins Takahashi after a Shock Arrow.   Awesome match!   Takahashi continues to take scary bumps on his neck.   Crazy.   With this win, SHO should be pushed as a singles star, even when YOH returns.   El Desperado, Hiromu Takahashi, SHO and Taiji Ishimori are all tied at 10.   El Desperado holds the advantage having wins against all three men.
