Best of Super Jr. 27 matches:
Yuya Uemura vs. Hiromu Takahashi. Takahashi forces Uemura to tap out to a Boston Crab. Uemura showed a lot of fire in this match, even hitting his double over-hook suplex, which popped the announcers. Good match.
Master Wato, with Hiroyoshi Tenzan vs. DOUKI. Wato pins DOUKI after an RPP. Solid match. Poor DOUKI. He hit Wato twice with his metal pipe but could not beat Wato. Master Wato continues to improve with his timing and smoothness in this Best of Super Jr. Tournament. Competing regularly with his own weight class has helped him.
Ryusuke Taguchi vs. BUSHI. BUSHI pinned Taguchi after hitting MX. Another solid match.
Robbie Eagles vs. Taiji Ishimori. Ishimori pins Eagles after a Bloody Cross. Great match. Both men were evenly matched until Ishimori capitalized on Eagle's missed Sliced Bread No.2 which lead to a Bone Lock then Bloody Cross.
SHO vs. El Desperado. Desperado pins SHO with Pinche Loco. Awesome match! This was a submission match early on. Desperado working on the knee of SHO. SHO attacking the arm of Desperado. Towards the end, SHO hit a Power Breaker, but missed a Shock Arrow, which allowed Desperado to recover and hit his finisher. Great stuff!
Currently, Hiromu Takahashi, Master Wato and Taiji Ishimori lead everyone with 8 points each.
