NOAH RETURNING TO FITE.TV, FUJITA DEFENDS BIG JAPAN DEATHMATCH TITLE, BEST OF SUPER JUNIORS CONTINUES TOMORROW AND MORE FROM JAPAN

Big Japan Pro Wrestling held a show in Korakuen Hall today.

The full results were:

• Kazumi Kikuta and Ryuichi Kawakami def. Akira Hyodo and Takuho Kato
• Fuminori Abe, Takuya Nomura and Yuya Aoki def. Abdullah Kobayashi, Brahman Kei and Brahman Shu
• Andy Wu, Kazuki Hashimoto and Kosuke Sato def. Koju Takeda, Kota Sekifuda and Tatsuhiko Yoshino
• Daichi Hashimoto, Daisuke Sekimoto and Hideyoshi Kamitani def. Ryota Hama, Yasufumi Nakanoue and Yuji Okabayashi
• Deathmatch: Drew Parker, Masaya Takahashi and Yuko Miyamoto def. Jaki Numazawa, Kankuro Hoshino and Ryuji Ito
• Deathmatch: Masashi Takeda and Takumi Tsukamoto def. Shunma Katsumata and Yuki Ishikawa
• BJW Deathmatch Heavyweight Championship: Minoru Fujita (c) def. Isami Kodaka

Minoru Fujita made his second successful defense of the BJW Deathmatch Heavyweight Championship against Isami Kodaka. After the match, he was challenged by Yuko Miyamoto.

Fujita will defend against Miyamoto on December 20 in Nagoya and the winner will face Takumi Tsukamoto on January 2 in Korakuen Hall.

Tsukamoto has challenged for the BJW Deathmatch Heavyweight Championship in Korakuen Hall on January 2 for the past three years. He has been unsuccessfully in every challenge.

The BJW World Strong Heavyweight Championship will also be defended on January 2. It is currently held by Yuji Okabayashi and the next challenger will be Daisuke Sekimoto at All Best Main Event on November 23 in EDION Arena Osaka.

It is worth nothing Yasufumi Nakanoue pinned Okabayashi on November 7, meaning Nakanoue could be a future challenger for the BJW World Strong Heavyweight Championship if Okabayashi defeats Sekimoto.

The BJW Tag Team Championships will be defended at Big Japan’s show in Korakuen Hall on December 30. The championships are currently held by Fuminori Abe and Takuya Nomura and the next challengers will be El Lindaman and T-Hawk at All Best Main Event.

Lastly, the BJW Junior Heavyweight Championship will be defended on December 30. It is currently held by Tatsuhiko Yoshino and the next challenger is Andy Wu at All Best Main Event.

The teams have been announced for Big Japan and DDT Pro Wrestling’s joint one-night tag team tournament on December 31.

Additionally, Ryuji Ito will face Shunma Katsumata in a deathmatch on the show.

All Japan Pro Wrestling

All Japan Pro Wrestling has announced Zeus will miss this year’s Real World Tag League tournament due to COVID-19.

Zeus was scheduled to team with Shigehiro Irie. Izanagi will replace him.

The updated card for tomorrow’s show, the opening night of the tournament, is:

Pro Wrestling NOAH has announced its NOAH the CHRONICLE vol. 4  will air live on FITE TV.

The show will take place in the Yokohama Budokan on November 22 at 4pm JST, 7am BST, 2am ET.
