NEW CHAMPIONS CROWNED OVER THE WEEKEND, KNOCKOUTS TAG TOURNAMENT BRACKETS AND MORE IMPACT NOTES

For those of you who missed it over the weekend, Impact Wrestling changed two championships over the weekend at Turning Point 2020 as Deonna Purrazzo captured the Knockouts Championship from Su Yung, starting her second reign with that belt.  The Good Brothers, Gallows and Anderson, defeated The North to capture their first Impact Wrestling Tag Team Championship, defeating The North.  That gives Gallows WWE, IWGP and Impact Tag Team title runs.

The show itself was, from a production standpoint, a marked improvement from Bound for Glory, thanks to the fact that the show was pre-taped and post-produced, eliminating any live production errors.   The show was produced by the promotion's regular TV production team as well.  Usually the Impact+ productions fall under the digital team with a smaller budget and production, but since everything is being produced out of Skyway Studios in Nashville, there has been an upgrade.

The next Impact+ special broadcast will be Final Resolution 2020 on Saturday 12/12.

Ethan Page's current Impact deal is up at the end of December.  There is no word whether he and the company have come to terms on a new deal, but Page is already teasing his future:

The other big deal that is believed to be up by the next month is Taya Valkyrie.

Brian Myers has launched a new podcast title Extreme Conversations looking back at the original ECW.

Sean Grabin, who was an absolutely great PR person to deal with during his time with AXS TV over the last seven years, announced a few days ago that the network had laid him off.  Grabin was intimately involved in a lot of media events for New Japan Pro Wrestling and Impact in recent years and was absolutely on the ball,  On behalf of everyone at PWInsider.com, we wish him the best.

Impact announced the following for tomorrow's episode of AXS TV:

*Impact Champion Rich Swann & Trey Miguel vs. Wentz & Dez.

*Hernandez vs. Fallah Bahh.

*Impact Knockouts Tag Team Championship Tournament: Tenille Dashwood & Alisha Edwards vs. Havok & Nevaeh

This Tuesday's Impact in 60 will feature Team Canada.  Next week's episode will feature the Best of Lockdown.
