Former Los Angeles Dodgers manager Tommy Lasorda, who appeared at Wrestlemania 2 as the ring announcer for that event's top attraction, WWF Champion Hulk Hogan vs. King Kong Bundy in a steel cage match, has been hospitalized in intensive care for the last week, the Dodgers announced today:
Los Angeles Dodgers Hall of Fame great Tommy Lasorda has been hospitalized in Orange County. Lasorda, 93, was admitted and he is in intensive care, resting comfortably. The family appreciates everyone’s thoughts and prayers; however, they request their privacy at this time.

Media reports indicate Lasorda is dealing with heart issues.
Lasorda, 93, is a Major League Baseball Hall of Famer and has made numerous film and television appearances playing himself. After his appearance at Wrestlemania 2 (which took place in the afternoon in Los Angeles), Lasorda went right to Dodgers' opening day in 1986 game, managing the team to a victory over the San Diego Padres.
