New Japan Pro Wrestling held the first night of its joint Best of the Super Juniors and World Tag League tour in Aichi Prefectural Gymnasium today.

The full results were:

Today’s show was Bad Luck Fale, David Finlay, Robbie Eagles, Tama Tonga, Tanga Loa and Toa Henare’s first matches back in Japan since the start of the ongoing COVID-19 global pandemic.

Jeff Cobb was revealed as the Great-O-Khan’s mystery partner and the third member of Will Ospreay’s new The Empire faction.

New Japan will hold a show in Komatsu City Suehiro Gymnasium tomorrow. It will be only World Tag League matches (plus a young lion opener).

Dragon Gate announced next year’s Kobe Pro-Wrestling Festival will be a two-night event on July 31 and August 1.

Masato Yoshino, who was scheduled to retire this year, has postponed his retirement until the second night of next year’s Kobe Pro-Wrestling Festival.

Shun Skywalker defeated Eita in the main event to become the youngest Open the Dream Gate Championship holder in history. His first challenger is Ben-K.

Big Japan Pro Wrestling has announced the full card for its November 19, December 12 and 13 shows.

Big Japan’s English Twitter account has provided an update on Toshiyuki Sakuda.

Saduka was scheduled to compete in the main event of the November 13 show, the Chimidoro Brothers’ farewell show, but suffered a significant amount of blood loss during the fourth match and was deemed unable to compete in the main event.

The account has confirmed Saduka’s wound was treated and he received seven stitches.

Pro Wrestling FREEDOMS

Pro Wrestling FREEDOMS has announced Daisuke Masaoka will miss its upcoming show in Shin-Kiba 1st Ring on November 19 due to neck injury.

The injury occurred at FREEDOMS’ show in Korakuen Hall on November 10. Masaoka faced Masashi Takeda in a deathmatch in the show’s main event.

The updated card for the November 19 show is:
