NXT STAR MAKES SMACKDOWN DEBUT

Chelsea Green made her official WWE Smackdown debut tonight.

Green, 29, was originally trained by Lance Storm and was first seen by WWE audiences during the most recent version of Tough Enough, where she came in as an alternate competitor.

Prior to signing with WWE, Green was seen in Lucha Underground and had a memorable run in Impact Wrestling as Laurel Van Ness, where she held the Knockouts title and was featured in a storyline with Braxton Sutter (now the Blade in AEW) and Allie, leading to a tremendous wedding segment.    After her Impact exit, Green was signed officially to WWE in August 2018 for the NXT brand.  She competed in the 2020 Royal Rumble and had most recently been seen on that brand this past May, managed by Robert Stone.
