THE MASKED WRESTLER - EPISODE 5 ON IWTV REPORT

IWTV “The Masked Wrestler: Episode 5”11/11/20

Last week, Stokely Hathaway Jr (identity as yet unknown) defeated Blueskie (revealed as Tre’ LaMar) in the 4th episode of this tournament of mystery - 

Tonight, the semi-finals begin as two SLIGHTLY LESS mysterious competitors enter the ring in this single elimination tournament to determine the next challenger for WARHORSE’s IWTV Championship. Kris Statlander, Billy Dixon and Mr. Brickster are your ringside...judges? Do they get cookies for guessing correctly? I would do this for cookies. Denver Colorado and Dylan Hales are your match commentators. Larry Legend is your announcer. ??

So who is fighting this week? Skid McGraw is back after defeating KTB in the first round. Genkai advanced in the opening round against Logan Easton LaRoux. Both are riding on a high of victory they hope carries them to the finals. 

Match: Genkai (pink mask) vs Skid McGraw (red mask)

Both are tentative with each other. Genkai works the wrist and a h deadlock, trying to wear the slightly larger Skid down. Skid picks Genkai up out of the sub and throws them across the ring...but Genkai lands on their feet. Big shoulder block from Skid. Skid catches Genkai running with a spin out sidewalk slam. Corner elbows and Genaki’s on wobbly legs. Huge body slam shakes the ring for a near fall. Genkai bobs and weaves and outstrikes Skid but the bigger McGraw just flapjacks Genkai to the mat. Genkai with an octopus stretch. Skid with a tomahawk chop to the top of the head. Deadlift modified jackhammer from SKid to two. Skid calling for a chokeslam, Genkai with the counter and rolls up for two. Skid wants a Tombstone, Genkai ranas out. 619! Skid wants that sidewalk slam but Genkai turns it back into a octopus hold. They drop to the ground, Genkai dropping shots to the head. Skid can only tap out.

Winner: Genkai

Good match. Skid showed a lot of power here but Genkai was finally able to use their technical speed to lock in the win. But WHO do the judges think is? Brickster says...it’s Josh Bishop. He’s right! First guess. Brickster got it!

Bishop says he was at a disadvantage because pink is red’s natural weakness but whoever Genkai is? They’re on the Rip City Hitlist. Next week is the other half of the semi-final bracket! Until then!
