WWE NXT REPORT: THREE TITLE MATCHES, BUILDING TO IO VERSUS RHEA, CAMERON GRIMES OVERCOMES HIS FEARS, AND MORE

We begin with the annual Veteran's Day message from WWE.

We are at the Captiol Wrestling Centre and your announcers are Wade Barrett, Vic Joseph, and Beth Phoenix.

NXT North American Champion Johnny Gargano is in the ring and he welcomes everyone to his Wheel of Challengers.   He says he made history when he became a Two Time North American Champion.  Johnny says he lost his title in his first title defense.  He won the NXT Title and then the title went bye-bye.  He says he is cursed.  With help from a special friend, the wheel, we reverse the curse.  With one spin, someone will get the opportunity of a lifetime.  Where there is a wheel, there is a way.

The wheel eventually moves onto Leon Ruff's name, the only one that was hand written on the wheel.

Match Number One:  Johnny Gargano versus Leon Ruff for the NXT North American Championship

Gargano tells Ruff to fix his knee pad and Gargano with kicks to Ruff.  Gargano with a kick and he gestures that he knocked this out of the park.  Gargano with a chop.  Gargano with an Irish wihp and Ruff with a kick and he slides under Gargano and hits a drop kick.  Ruff with a splash into the corner but Gargano blocks a springboard move and Gargano sends Ruff into the ring post and ring steps.  Gargano sends Ruff into the ringside barrier.  

Gargano sees Damian Priest behind the fencing and he sends Ruff back into the ring and Gargano mocks Priest but Priest moves from behind the fencing and it freaks out Gargano.  Ruff with a rollup for a near fall.  Gargano with a clothesline.  Gargano picks up Ruff for a lawn dart and connects.  Gargano says it is so easy.  Gargano misses a super kick and Ruff with a crucifix bomb for the three count.

Winner:  Leon Ruff (new Champion)

After the match, Priest celebrates with Ruff on the stage while Gargano is shocked at what happened.  Ruff heads to the back and almost trips when the belt falls from his waist.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Leon Ruff is with McKenzie and he is asked how he feels.  Damian Priest tells Leon that Johnny is pissed and he will come after you so get into my car and get out of here. 

Gargano runs through the back while Priest says it was incredible.  Gargano blames Priest for the loss.  Officials have to hold Johnny back.  

Gargano wants Regal to do his job and he wants to know what idiot came up with that idea.  Gargano says he hates wheels and he never would have come up with that.  

Priest tells Gargano to go watch Wheel of Fortune.

We take a look at how the match came to be.  

We see Jake Atlas in the parking lot and he says he is sick and tired of the nubmers game and he goes after Wilde with a bat and he says he has one to go.  

Match Number Two:  Santos Escobar (with Joaquin Wilde and Raul Mendoza) versus Jake Atlas for the NXT Cruiserweight Championship

Atlas goes for an O'Connor Roll but Escobar holds on to the ropes.  Atlas with a drop kick that sends Escobar to the floor.  They return to the ring and Escobar with a kick and forearms.  Escobar works on the neck.  Escobar with a kick to the chest.  Atlas with a chop and Escobar chops back.  They continue the exchange and Escobar with forearms and a snap mare.  Escobar with a kick to the back and a kick to the midsection.  Escobar with a side Russian leg sweep into a head scissors into a Koji Clutch.

Escobar with forearms to the back and a chop.  Escobar with punches.  Atlas goes for a head scissors but Escobar counters and sends Atlas face first to the mat.  Escobar with kicks to the chest.  Escobar with punches and kicks in the corner.  Escobar with forearms and a kick.  Escobar with a chin lock with the arm trapped in a top wrist lock.  Atlas with punches and he backs Escobar into the corner.  Atlas sends Escobar into the turnbuckles and continues with chops and forearms.  Atlas with a snap mare and forearm.

Atlas is sent to the apron but Atlas sends Escobar into the turnbuckles.  Mendoza tries to use a pipe but hits the post and then he stops Wilde from interfering.  Atlas hits Wilde and Mendoza with the pipe and then he punches Escobar and hits a springboard blockbuster for a near fall.  Escobar rolls to the floor.  

We go to commercial.

We are back and we see footage from the commercial break when Wilde and Mendoza tripped Atlas and the referee sent them to the back.

Back to live action and Escobar chokes Atlas in the corner and kicks Atlas in the leg.  Escobar with more kicks in the corner and a splash into the corner.  Escobar with an Irish whip and running knees into the corner.  Escobar puts Atlas on the turnbuckles and punches him.  Escobar with a Frankensteiner.  Escobar goes up top and hits a frog splash for a near fall.  Atlas with a head scissors take down and drop kick.  Atlas with a German suplex and round kick to the temple for a near fall.  Atlas with punches to Escobar.  Atlas with a wrist lock and he chops Escobar andgoes to the ropes but Escobar pushes Atlas off the top rope and Atlas hits the announce table when he lands on the floor.

Escobar sets for a dive but Atlas is still down.  Escobar slides to the floor and Atlas with a forearm.  Escobar sends Atlas into the ring steps.  The referee makes his count and Atlas is sent into the ring steps again.  Atlas drops Escobar on the top rope and then he hits a suicide dive but he does not completely hit it because he got his feet caught in the ropes.  Atlas with a victory roll for a near fall.  Atlas with an inside cradle for a near fall.  Escobar sends Atlas throat first into the ropes and Escobar gets Atlas on his shoulders but Atlas gets to his feet.  Escobar with a leg lariat for a near fall.  

Atlas gets Escobar up and hits a Finlay Roll and knee and a moonsault for a near fall.  Atlas goes for the Rainbow DDT but Escobar blocks it and hits a butterfly facebuster for the three count.

Winner:  Santos Escobar (retains championship)

We go to the back where Dexter Lumis is doing a caricature of Cameron Grimes and the Zombie referee.

Raquel Gonzalez walks in the back as we go to commercial.

We are back with a look back at what happened last week with Shotzi's tank.  Shotzi says Candice didn't destroy that tank, she destroyed a part of her.  It is a part of her life.  That tank represents freedom and family he has in the military.  Now she wants to say we are even.  We are way past even.  Do you want to send me a message?  Here is one right back.  I am not looking for payback or revenge.  I am looking to kick your ass.

Boa makes his way to the ring before Xia Li makes her way to the ring for her match.  Boa bows and says that Xia is not here tonight so she cannot have a match with Xia.  Boa says he is real sorry.  

Raquel kicks Boa in the head as he leaves the ring.  Gonzalez sends Boa into the plexiglass and fencing.  Raquel punches and kicks Boa.  Raquel sends Boa into the plexiglass again.  Boa goes into the ring and Raquel follows.  Raquel with a boot to the head.  Raquel with a choke slam. 

Gonzalez goes to the back and the lights go down and a dragon appears on the matrix board and the HHHTron.

A man who may or may not be David Lo Pan walks to the ring and hands Boa an envelope and he places a mark on Boa's hand.

We are back and August Grey is asked about why he attacked Timothy Thatcher last week.

Before Grey can say anything, Thatcher attacks him from behind and drags him through the back.  Thatcher with a guillotine and Grey is down.  Thatcher sends Grey into the caricature from earlier as officials tell him to back off.

Dexter Lumis shows up with William Regal and Thatcher says he has no problem with Lumis and leaves.

Candice LeRae had comments earlier today.  She says she can still hear the popping noises when she ran over the tank.  When you get in my way, I run you over.  Just like I will run over that punk rock poseur Toni Storm.

Match Number Three:  Toni Storm versus Candice LeRae

They lock up and LeRae with a side head lock and she holds on when Storm tries to send her off the ropes.  Storm with a side head lock and take down.  LeRae with a rollup for a near fall.  Storm with a wrist lock and LeRae tries to escape but Candice is sent to the mat.  Storm with a wrist lock and LeRae with a reversal.  Storm with a reversal and take down.  LeRae with a wrist lock and Storm tries for a reversal but LeRae takes her down and gets a near fall.  LeRae with a side head lock and take down.  Storm blocks a suplex and hits a suplex of her own.

Storm avoids a drop down and hits a drop kick followed by a reverse atomic drop and kick.  Storm with a kick to the chest.  LeRae goes to the floor and Storm follows.  Storm misses a running hip strike against the ring steps when Candice moves.  Candice breaks the referee's count and then sends Storm back into the ring.
