Toru Yano made his first successful defense of the KOPW 2020 trophy after trapping Zack Sabre Jr. outside the ring by tying his shoelaces to a barricade.
Shingo Takagi regained the NEVER Openweight Championship from Minoru Suzuki in the second match. Suzuki did not manage a successful defense of the championship.
Kazuchika Okada defeated Great-O-Khan via referee stoppage after Great-O-Khan passed out from Okada’s Money Clip submission. After the match, Will Ospreay challenged Okada to a match at Wrestle Kingdom 15.

New Japan also announced the tournament bracket for the Super J-Cup on December 12.
The announced card is:
• Super J-Cup first round: Chris Bey vs. Clark Connors
• Super J-Cup first round: ACH vs. TJP
• Super J-Cup first round: Blake Christian vs. Rey Horus
• Super J-Cup first round: El Phantasmo vs. Lio Rush
• Super J-Cup semifinals
• Super J-Cup semifinals
• HIKULEO and KENTA vs. Karl Fredericks and Ren Narita
• Super J-Cup final
The show will be Ren Narita’s first New Japan match since he competed on the New Beginning In USA tour in January and February.
KENTA successfully defended his IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship challenge rights certificate briefcase against Hiroshi Tanahashi.
Jon Moxley currently holds the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship. With the current travel restrictions in place due to the ongoing COVID-19 global pandemic, not to mention Moxley’s obvious contractual obligations to All Elite Wrestling, it is hard to guess when Moxley will be able to next defend the championship.
However, if the Super J-Cup has not already been taped, KENTA must be flying back to America in the near future. This would rule him out of the World Tag League and also make a potential match against Moxley much easier to facilitate.
Jay White defeated Kota Ibushi with a backslide pinfall with his feet on the ropes to win the IWGP Heavyweight Championship challenge rights certificate briefcase. Ibushi is the first G1 Climax winner to lose the right to challenge for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship at Wrestle Kingdom.
Tetsuya Naito successfully defended IWGP Heavyweight Championship and IWGP Intercontinental Championship against EVIL in the main event.
Dick Togo and Yujiro Takahashi attempted to interfere on EVIL’s behalf, but SANADA came to Naito’s aide and took both men backstage.
White came to the ring and teased hitting EVIL with a Blade Runner. Instead, he attacked Naito. Ibushi sprinted to the ring and chased White back to the locker room area.
After Naito defeated EVIL, White returned to the ring. He told Naito he was going to challenge for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship and IWGP Intercontinental Championship on January 5.
White said Naito could wrestle whoever he wants on January 4. This could tease Naito attempting to defend both championships on both nights.
Once again, Ibushi came to the ring and scared White backstage. It is worth noting Ibushi intended to challenge for both championships on January 4, whereas White wants to challenge on January 5.
With the obvious issues still remaining between Ibushi and White, one logical scenario could be Naito defending both championships against Ibushi on January 4 and the winner facing White on January 5.
After White and Ibushi left, Naito said New Japan will hold another show in EDION Arena Osaka in 2021 and the announcement will be soon.
New Japan will hold a press conference regarding Wrestle Kingdom 15 tomorrow.

New Japan also aired the fourteenth episode of NJPW STRONG last night. The full results were:
• Fred Rosser def. Jordan Clearwater
• Chase Owens def. Danny Limelight
• JR Kratos and Rust Taylor def. Jeff Cobb and Rocky Romero
JR Kratos, making his New Japan debut, pinned Rocky Romero in the main event.
Three matches were announced for next week’s episode:
• PJ Black vs. Tama Tonga
• Fred Rosser vs. Tom Lawlor
• Brody King, Juice Robinson and Karl Fredericks vs. Chase Owens, Jay White and Tanga Loa
The six-man tag team match will be Juice Robinson’s first match on NJPW STRONG. Robinson did not compete New Japan Cup 2020 in the USA in August due to a leg injury.
The show will also be Tom Lawlor’s first appearance since defeating Alex Coughlin on the fourth episode on July 24.
