ALL JAPAN ANNOUNCES TALENT TESTS POSITIVE FOR COVID-19 POSITIVE, TOP MATCHES FOR DG KOBE FESTIVAL, FINAL NJPW ROAD TO POWER STRUGGLE EVENT AND MORE FROM JAPAN

Dragon Gate

Dragon Gate has confirmed Shun Skywalker will challenge Eita for the Open the Dream Gate Championship at Kobe Pro-Wrestling Festival on November 15, as well as three other championship matches.

The announced matches are:

• Open the Brave Gate Championship: Keisuke Okuda (c) vs. Kaito Ishida
• Dia Inferno vs. Dragon Dia
• Open the Triangle Gate Championships: KAZMA SAKAMOTO, Kento Kobune and Takashi Yoshida (c) vs. Ben-K, U-T and Yosuke Santa Maria vs. Dragon Dia, Kagetora and Shuji Kondo
• Open the Twin Gate Championships: Jason Lee and Kota Minoura (c) vs. BxB Hulk and KAI
• Open the Dream Gate Championship: Eita (c) vs. Shun Skywalker

Taro Nohashi and Toru Owashi have also been confirmed for the show.

Dragon Gate has announced the full card for its November 5 show in Korakuen Hall.

The full card is:

• BxB Hulk and Takashi Yoshida vs. Madoka Kikuta and Taketo Kamei
• Gamma, Masaaki Mochizuki and Problem Dragon vs. Genki Horiguchi, Susumu Yokosuka and Yasushi Kanda
• Jason Lee and Keisuke Okuda vs. Kaito Ishida and KAZMA SAKAMOTO
• Don Fujii, Kenichiro Arai, Masato Yoshino and Ultimo Dragon vs. Naruki Doi, Punch Tominaga, Ryo Saito and Ryotsu Shimizu
• Ben-K, U-T and Yosuke Santa Maria vs. Dragon Kid, Kagetora and Shuji Kondo
• Dia Inferno, Eita, KAI and Kento Kobune vs. Dragon Dia, Kota Minoura, Kzy and YAMATO

Pro Wrestling ZERO1

Pro Wrestling ZERO1 held a press conference today to announce Hartley Jackson will challenge Hayato Tamura for the World Heavyweight Championship on November 23 in Shinjuku FACE.

The full card for the show is:

• Shogun Okamoto vs. Takumi Baba
• RAICHO vs. Shoki Kitamura
• Chris Vice vs. Tsugutaka Sato
• Hide Kubota and Yuji Hino vs. KANON and Ren Ayabe
• Satsuki Nagao vs. Shinjiro Otani vs. SUGI vs. Takuya Sugawara vs. Towa Iwasaki vs. Yasu Kubota vs. Yoshikazu Yokoyama
• World Heavyweight Championship: Hayato Tamura (c) vs. Hartley Jackson

The main event will be Tamura’s third defense of the championship.

ZERO1 also announced it will hold its Furinkazan tag team tournament in December. Eight teams will compete in a single-elimination format.

Satsuki Nagao, Shinjiro Otani, SUGI, Takuya Sugawara, Towa Iwasaki, Yasu Kubota and Yoshikazu Yokoyama, who are facing off in a seven-way on November 23, will all compete in the tournament. Their individual teams have not been announced.

The first confirmed team is El Lindaman and T-Hawk.

Lastly, ZERO1 announced it will hold a show on January 1, 2021 in Korakeun Hall.

DDT Pro-Wrestling has announced the full schedule for its D-Oh Grand Prix tournament.

New Japan Pro Wrestling will hold its final Road to Power Struggle tour show in Kochi Prefectural Gymnasium tomorrow.

The full card is:

• Yota Tsuji vs. Yuya Uemura
• DOUKI, Taichi and Zack Sabre Jr. vs. Hirooki Goto, Toru Yano and YOSHI-HASHI
• Gabriel Kidd and Kazuchika Okada vs. Great-O-Khan and Will Ospreay
• BUSHI and Shingo Takagi vs. El Desperado and Minoru Suzuki
• Chase Owens, Jay White and KENTA vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi, Kota Ibushi and Tomoaki Honma

Yoshinobu Kanemaru was scheduled to compete in the fourth match, but has been removed from the card due to knee injury. Instead, Hiromu Takahashi has been shifted to the main event and Dick Togo will team with EVIL and Yujiro Takahashi

All Japan Pro Wrestling

All Japan Pro Wrestling star Zeus has tested positive for COVID-19, the company announced today.

Zeus will remain isolated in a hotel in Osaka until November 11.

He is scheduled to team with Shigehiro Irie in the upcoming Real World Tag League, starting on November 18.
