NJPW STRONG REPORT

We are in Los Angeles, California and your announcers are Shigeki Kiyono, Hirooki Goto, and Katsuyori Shibata (in Japanese) or Kevin Kelly and Alex Koslov (in English).

Match Number One: DKC and Clark Connors versus Logan Riegel and Sterling Riegel

DKC and Sterling start things off. DKC goes for the leg and Sterling with a side head lock. DKC with a side head lock take down and Sterling with a head scissors. DKC with a front face lock and Sterling gets a near fall. Sterling with a reverse chin lock and DKC with a snap mare into a figure four head scissors. Sterling escapes and applies a side head lock. DKC with a take down and Connors tags in. Connors with a leg trip and a step over toe hold. Connors gets a near fall. Logan tags in and he goes for the legs but Connors blocks it. They lock up and Logan with a waist lock take down into a front face lock. Sterling tags in and Logan with shoulders. Sterling with a forearm but Connors with a chop. Sterling with a kick and then he hits an elbow and Logan with a leg sweep. Sterling with a splash for a near fall.

Sterling with a front face lock and suplex for a near fall. Sterling with forearms to the back and shoulders to the midsection. Connors with a POUNCE to Sterling and he runs Sterling into the corner. DKC tags in and connects with a suplex. DKC with a surfboard and his knee in the back. DKC with a front face lock but Sterling escapes. DKC returns to the reverse chin lock. Connors tags in and he kicks Sterling.

They hit a double shoulder tackle and Connors knocks Logan off the apron. Sterling with punches but Connors with a slam. DKC tags in and he is sent to the floor and Logan tags in. Logan with a forearm to Connors and a running uppercut. Logan with a pescado onto Connors. They return to the ring and Logan hits slingblade for a near fall. Logan with forearms and chops to Connors and Connors with a forearm.

Sterling with a leap frog stomp followed by a moonsault from Logan for a near fall. Connors with a power slam to Logan and both men are down. DKC and Sterling tag in and DKC with forearms and a Michinoku Driver. DKC with a clothesline to Logan and Sterling. Logan with a kick and then they hit an assisted hesitation DDT for the three count.

Winners: Logan Riegel and Sterling Riegel

After the match, Logan and Sterling are in the back. They say it has been six months since they have been in the ring together, but they haven’t missed a beat. One thing is certain, they are not going anywhere.

Match Number Two: Karl Fredericks versus Blake Christian

They lock up and Fredericks with a clean break. Fredericks with a kick and they lock up again. Fredericks with a chop in the corner. Christian with a side head lock and shoulder tackle but Fredericks does not move. Christian tries again and fails. Fredericks misses a cross body and Christian with a handspring elbow followed by a drop kick. Christian with a head scissors take down and a suicide dive onto Fredericks on the floor.

They return to the ring and Christian with forearms but Fredericks chops back. Fredericks kicks Christian in the back a few times and gets a near fall. Fredericks slams Christian and then stomps on the chest. Fredericks with European uppercuts for a near fall. Fredericks tries for a suplex but Christian blocks it. Christian with a spinning heel kick and a leg sweep. Christian with a round kick and he misses a springboard move. Christian with a kick from the apron and a double stomp to the back for a near fall. Christian with a waist lock and Fredericks with elbows and a forearm. Christian with a rollup for a near fall. Christian with a jumping knee but Fredericks with a spinebuster and single leg crab. Fredericks stomps on the head and Christian taps out.

Winner: Karl Fredericks

After the match, Fredericks comments in the back.

Match Number Three: Misterioso, Alex Zayne, PJ Black, and David Finlay versus Tama Tonga, Tanga Loa, Hikuleo, and KENTA

Black and Tanga start things off. Tanga with a kick to the midsection and side head lock. Tanga with a shoulder tackle and he blocks a hip toss but so does Black. Black with a leg sweep. Black with a spinning heel kick and an elbow from the turnbuckles. Tama hits Black from the apron and Black with a back body drop to Tana. Black with a forearm in the corner. Misterioso tags in and Black with a splash into the corner. Misterioso with a kick and rolling drop kick for a near fall.

Tanga with punches and Tama tags in. They block a handspring back elbow and then Misterioso with a head scissors to Tanga and a thrust kick to the knee and a thrust kick. Misterioso gets a near fall. Zayne tags in and he punches Tama. Tama sends Misterioso over the top rope and Misterioso with a plancha onto Tanga. Zayne with an arm drag and head scissors to Tama. Zayne with forearms and chpos. Tama with punches. Zayne with a kick but Hikuleo with a uranage from the apron. Hikuleo tags in and hits a power slam for a near fall.

Hikuleo with chops. KENTA tags in and he chops and kicks Zayne. KENTA with a back elbow and he gets a near fall. KENTA with a kick to the back and Tama tags in. Tama with forearms across the chest. KENTA tags in and he kicks Zayne. KENTA with a snap mare and kick to the bck. KENTA knocks Finlay off the apron and the referee has to hold him back. Zayne with a kick and Finlay tags in. They exchange forearms with Finlay gaining the advantage. Finlay with a European uppercut and a lungblower for a near fall. Tanbga hits Finaly in the back and Black with a cross body onto KENTA and Tanga. KENTA with a DDT and Hikuleo tags in. Finlay is sent into the turnbuckles shoulder first a few times. Hikuleo with a Jericho cover for a near fall. Finlay lands on his feet on a suplex attempt but Hikuleo with a power slam. Hikuleo goes over the top rope when Finlay drops down. Tama keeps Finlay from making the tag.

Zayne with a springboard drop kick and Misterioso and Hikuleo tag in. Misterioso goes for a sunset flip but Hikuleo does not go over. Misterioso with kicks to Hikuleo and he goes for a springboard cross body but Hikuleo rolls through and hits the flatliner for the three count.

Winners: Tama Tonga, Tanga Loa, Hikuleo, and KENTA

David Finlay tells KENTA he has a problem. He wants KENTA to put the briefcase on the line so he can become IWGP US Champion.
