Pro Wrestling NOAH

Pro Wrestling NOAH held its second Premium Prelude tour show in Korakuen Hall today.

The full results were:

• Kinya Okada def. Yasutaka Yano
• Hajime Ohara and Naomichi Marufuji def. Junta Miyawaki and Mohammed Yone
• Haoh, Nioh and Tadasuke def. HAYATA, Kotaro Suzuki and Yoshinari Ogawa
• Go Shiozaki, Kaito Kiyomiya and Shuhei Taniguchi def. Katsuhiko Nakajima, Kenoh and Yoshiki Inamura
• GHC Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championships: Atsushi Kotoge and Daisuke Harada (c) def. Seiki Yoshioka and YO-HEY
• GHC Tag Team Championships: Kazushi Sakuraba and Takashi Sugiura (c) def. Manabu Soya and Masa Kitamiya

Yasutaka Yano is NOAH’s first dojo graduate in two years. He lost to Kinya Okada in just over five and a half minutes in the opening match.

In the third match, Tadasuke pinned Kotaro Suzuki. This is significant as Suzuki holds the GHC Junior Heavyweight Championship.

Afterwards, HAYATA and Yoshinari Ogawa turned on Suzuki and kicked him out of Stinger. NOAH’s junior heavyweight division has been incredibly volatile throughout 2020 and it would not be a surprise to see HAYATA and Ogawa welcome a new member to Stinger or Suzuki join a new faction in the very near future.

Kaito Kiyomiya pinned Kenoh in the fourth match. In what looked to be a confrontation, Yoshiki Inamura shook Kiyomiya’s hand. Kiyomiya then challenged Kenoh to a GHC National Championship match.

Backstage, Inamura confirmed his departure from Kongoh to join Kiyomiya.

Atsushi Kotoge and Daisuke Harada made their first successful defense of the GHC Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championships against Seiki Yoshioka and YO-HEY. After the match, they were attacked and challenged by HAYATA and Ogawa.

Similarly, Kazushi Sakuraba and Takashi Sugiura made their first successful defense of the GHC Tag Team Championships against Manabu Soya and Masa Kitamiya when Sakuraba submitted Soya.

This prompted Naomichi Marfuji to come to the ring. He challenged Sakuraba and Sugiura to the GHC Tag Team Championships alongside Masakatsu Funaki.

Keiji Mutoh versus Shuhei Taniguchi and Go Shiozaki defending the GHC Heavyweight Championship are the only two matches currently confirmed to to take place at NOAH the CHRONICLE vol. 4 in Yokohama Budokan on November 22. However, based on today’s results, some additional matches on the card could be:
