Pat McAfee tweeted the following video, announcing he paid off Ridge Holland to attack Adam Cole at Takeover 31.
After Holland was legitimately injured, the storyline is that McAfee made a deal with new NXT Tag Team Champions Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch since Lorcan was tough enough to take out Holland:
