WWE NXT UK REPORT: CONTRACT SIGNING, HERITAGE CUP CONTINUES, AND MORE

We are in London, England and your announcers are Andy Shepherd and Nigel McGuinness.

Match Number One: Eddie Dennis versus Oliver Carter

They lock up and Carter with a waist lock take down into a front face lock. Dennis with a wrist lock and elbow to the collarbone. Dennis with a side head lock take down. Dennis gets a near fall. Carter with a head scissors. Dennis with a wrist lock and Carter with a kick and punches. Carter with a back elbow and he lands on his feet on a back drop attempt. Carter with a head scissors take down and splash to the back through the ropes.

Carter flips into the ring but Dennis with a palm strike. Carter goes over the top rope to the floor when Dennis drops down. Dennis goes to the floor and connects with a forearm. Carter is sent back into the ring and Dennis gets a near fall. Dennis with a hard Irish whip. Dennis with a cravate and Carter escapes. Carter with a forearm and chops. Carter with a European uppercut and a victory roll for a near fall.

Carter skins the cat but Dennis catches Carter but Carter with a tornado DDT. Carter with a suicide dive and he sends Dennis back into the ring. Carter goes for a springboard 450 but Dennis gets his knees up. Dennis with a delayed slam for a near fall. Carter gets to his feet and hits a super kick. Carter with a uranage and a quebrada to the head for a near fall. Carter runs into a boot and then Carter with a kick and spinning heel kick into the corner.

Dennis with Seven Bridge for the three count.

Winner: Eddie Dennis

After the match, Dennis tells Carter to get out of his ring and go back to the tag division. Eddie asks if it was terrible what happened to Flash Morgan Webster. We all know who did it. Who stood to gain the most from Flash being on the shelf? Regardless, next week in this very ring, he is inviting Flash and he asks him to bring his best friend Mark Andrews for a special mediation, led by yours truly.

Match Number Two: Amale versus Nina Samuels

They lock up and Amale backs Samuels into the ropes. They break and lock up again. Samuels pushes Amale on the break and Amale pushes back and they go to the mat until the referee separates them. Amale with an Irish whip but she runs into a boot. Amale with a clothesline for a near fall. Amale with a figure four head scissors. Amale drives Samuels’ head into the mat.

Samuels goes to the apron and Nina drops Amale on the top rope. Nina with kicks and sends Amale into the turnbuckles for a near fall. Samuels with a snap mare and body scissors. Nina with forearms to the back of the head while she maintains the body scissors. Amale tries to roll back for a near fall. Nina works on the arm and wrist. Samuels with a hammer lock but Amale with a back body drop. Amale misses a splash into the corner and Amale kicks Samuels away and hits a running drop kick. Amale with a running boot to the head. Amale gets a near fall. Samuels with a drop toe hold into the ropes and a drop kick to the back while Amale is in the ropes. Samuels gets a near fall.

Amale with a waist lock and Samuels with an elbow. Amale with a Northern Lights suplex for a near fall. Amale blocks a boot and connects with a forearm. Samuels with Final Act for the three count.

Winner: Nina Samuels

We are told that Mark Andrews and Flash Morgan Webster will confront Eddie Dennis next week.

We are back and Nina Samuels is asked about her victory. Nina says she is not part of a double act because NXT UK needs more Nina. Consider this the official relaunch of the Nina Samuels Show. Amale met her final act and she has another act to review. Piper Niven . . . I’ll be watching.

Match Number Three: Trent Seven versus Kenny Williams in a First Round Match in the NXT UK Heritage Cup

Round One

They lock up and Seven backs Williams into the ropes and gives a clean break. They lock up again and Williams with a take down and front face lock but Seven with an escape and hammer lock using the leg. Seven with a front face lock and hammer lock but Williams gets to the ropes. They lock up and Williams with a wrist lock and take down. Williams gets a near fall.

Williams gets another near fall. Seven bridges to kick out and Williams gets another near fall. Seven with a back heel trip for a near fall and Williams with a bridge. Seven puts his body weight on Williams. Williams with an arm drag. Seven with a hip toss and Williams kicks Seven away. Seven catches Williams on a cross body attempt and Seven with a slam and leg drop for a near fall. Seven with a front face lock. Williams with a side head lock and the round ends.

Round Two

Williams goes for the leg but Seven avoids him. Williams with a snap mare and gets a cover but no count. Seven with a straitjacket choke. Williams tries to power out of the hold and he sends Seven to the mat with an arm drag. Seven with a wrist lock. Williams with an elbow and springboard back elbow for a near fall.

Williams misses a splash in the corner and Seven with a snap mare. Williams with a head scissors and drop kick for a near fall. Williams with a side head lock take down. Williams gets a near fall. Seven with a head butt to the midsection followed by a second one. Williams with a sunset flip for a near fall. Seven with a front face lock as the round ends.

Round Three

Williams goes for the ankle and takes Seven to the mat and Williams works on the heel and ankle. Williams has his boot on the other foot to keep Seven from escaping. Seven is able to escape and apply a side head lock and take down. Williams with a head scissors. Seven with a headstand and he escapes with a side head lock.

Williams with an escape and chop. Seven responds and he avoids a chop but does not miss his chop. Seven gets Williams to flinch and hits a DDT for a near fall. Seven with a running chop into the corner. Seven with an Irish whip and Williams floats over. Williams with a take down and Williams with a side head lock. Williams with a kick to the arm but Seven with a Seven Star Lariat for a three count.

Seven 1 Fall, Williams 0 Falls

Round Four

Seven goes for a Seven Star Lariat but Williams holds on to the ropes and Williams with a rollup for a near fall. Williams with a back slide for a near fall. Williams with a knee to the head and Williams with a double leg nelson for the three count

Williams 1 Fall, Seven 1 Fall

Round Five

Williams with a rollup for a near fall. Williams with a European upprecut and Seven with a chop. Williams with a kick and Seven with a super kick but Williams with a rebound lariat for a near fall. Williams with a tornado DDT for a near fall. Williams with forearms.

Seven with a forearm and Seven with a wheelbarrow into a dragon suplex and Emerald Frosion for a near fall. Seven goes to the turnbuckles but Williams rolls to the apron and connects with a European uppercut. Williams with a springboard Frankensteiner but Seven rolls through for the three count.

Winner: Trent Seven (Advances to face Dave Mastiff)

WALTER and Alexander Wolfe walk in the back and WALTER tells Wolfe that he has things under control as he makes his way to the ring for the contract signing.

We go to commercial.

We are back and we are reminded that Ilja Dragunov gets his shot against WALTER next week for the NXT UK Championship.

Assistant to the NXT UK General Manager Sid Scala is in the ring to officiate the contract signing for the NXT UK Championship match next week between Ilja Dragunov and WALTER.

Ilja Dragunov makes his way to the ring first. The NXT UK Champion WALTER is out next.

WALTER puts the title belt on the table and then they sit down.

Sid says he wants the time to be used for the business at hand. He asks WALTER to sign the contract and does so.

Sid asks WALTER if he has anything to say.

WALTER does not say anything.

Ilja is given the contract and he signs it.

Ilja is asked if he has naything to say.

They both get up and WALTER slaps Ilja and then pulls off his shirt and chops Ilja in the corner. WALTER cleans off the table and WALTER with another chop and he sets for a power bomb through the table and Ilja escapes and he kicks and punches WALTER. Ilja goes up top and is met with a chop as Ilja makes his way to the floor. WALTER power bombs Ilja on the apron. WALTER with chops. WALTER with a chop to the back and a short arm clothesline.

Officials finally decide to get involved but that doesn’t stop WALTER from kicking Ilja in the head. Ilja with a running forearm and they go through the ringside barrier.

WALTER has to be held back so he does not go after Dragunov.
