Big Japan Pro Wrestling held a show in Korakuen Hall today, highlighted by three big championship matches.
The full results were:
• Koju Takeda and Kota Sekifuda def. Kazuki Hashimoto and Kosuke Sato
• Daisuke Sekimoto, Ryota Hama and Yasufumi Nakanoue def. Akira Hyodo, Hideyoshi Kamitani and Takuya Nomura
• Deathmatch: Abdullah Kobayashi, Isami Kodaka, Takumi Tsukamoto and Yuko Miyamoto def. Jaki Numazawa, Kankuro Hoshino, Ryuji Ito and Takayuki Ueki
• Deathmatch: Drew Parker and Shunma Katsumata def. Toshiyuki Sakuda and Yuki Ishikawa
• BJW Junior Heavyweight Championship: Tatsuhiko Yoshino def. Yuya Aoki (c)
• BJW World Strong Heavyweight Championship: Yuji Okabayashi def. Daichi Hashimoto (c)
• BJW Deathmatch Heavyweight Championship: Minoru Fujita (c) def. Masaya Takahashi
Tatsuhiko Yoshino defeated Yuya Aoki to win the BJW Junior Heavyweight Championship. Aoki made four successful defenses of the championship against Kota Sekifuda, TAJIRI and Yoshino in a four-way, Kazuki Hashimoto, Fuminori Abe and El Lindaman.
Yoshino’s first defense will be against Sekifuda on November 8.
It is worth remembering Andy Wu will challenge for the BJW Junior Heavyweight Championship in EDION Arena Osaka on November 23. It will be against the winner of Yoshino versus Sekifuda.
Aoki will also be moving to the heavyweight division.
Yuji Okabayashi defeated Daichi Hashimoto to win the BJW World Strong Heavyweight Championship.
Hashimoto made six successful defenses against Okabayashi, Takuya Nomura, Daisuke Sekimoto, Yasufumi Nakanoue, Akira Hyodo and Shigehiro Irie.
Okabayashi’s first defense will be against Sekimoto in EDION Arena Osaka on November 23.
Minoru Fujita made his first successful defense of the BJW Deathmatch Heavyweight Championship against Masaya Takahashi in the main event.
The match was Halloween-themed including costumes, lights and props around the ring.

Isami Kodaka will be Fujita’s next challenger. Kodaka pinned Fujita in their Saikyo Tag League match last month.

Kodaka will challenge Fujita in Korakuen Hall on November 17.
DDT Pro-Wrestling
DDT Pro-Wrestling has confirmed the match order for its October 25 show in Korakuen Hall.
The full card is:
• Hideki Okatani vs. Hiroshi Yamato
• Danshoku Dieno vs. Keigo Nakamura
• Antonio Honda, Chris Brookes and Shunma Katsumata vs. HARASHIMA, Toru Owashi and Yukio Naya
• Mad Paulie vs. Shinya Aoki
• Akito and Konosuke Takeshita vs. Jun Akiyama and Makoto Oishi
• CIMA vs. Soma Takao
• KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Championships: Kazusada Higuchi, Saki Akai and Yukio Sakaguchi (c) vs. Kazuki Hirata, Naomi Yoshimura and Yuki Ueno
• KO-D Tag Team Championships: Naomi Yoshimura and Yuki Ueno (c) vs. Kazusada Higuchi and Yukio Sakaguchi
Kazusada Higuchi, Saki Akai and Yukio Sakaguchi will attempt their third defense of the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Championships.
Straight after, Higuchi and Sakaguchi will challenge Naomi Yoshimura and Yuki Ueno for the KO-D Tag Team Championships. It will be Yoshimura and Ueno’s eighth defense.
DDT has also announced two shows in Korakuen Hall next January. The two shows will take place on January 3 and 9.

Pro Wrestling ZERO1
Pro Wrestling ZERO1 has added a new six-man tag team match to its November 3 show in Tokyo.
Aja Kong will team with Satsuki Nagao and Shinjiro Otani against Hartley Jackson, Naoshi Sano and Shoki Kitamura.
The updated match card is:
• World Heavyweight Championship: Hayato Tamura (c) vs. Yasu Kubota
• Andy Wu, RAICHO and SUGI vs. Chris Vice, TARU and Yoshikazu Yokoyama
• Aja Kong, Satsuki Nagao and Shinjiro Otani vs. Hartley Jackson, Naoshi Sano and Shoki Kitamura
• Asuka and Hide Kubota vs. Masato Tanaka and Takuya Sugawara
