BEFORE ITS CANCELLATION, GLOW CAST WANTED CHANGES MADE TO THE SHOW

On Instagram, GLOW cast members Sunita Mani, Ellen Wong, Sydelle Noel, Britney Young, Shakira Barrera and Kia Stevens shared a letter they sent to producers of the show back in June, during the Black Lives Matter protests, asking for changes to be made to Season 4, such as amplifying the voices and importance of people of color on the show and hiring a person of color in a writer and executive/consulting producer position.

They noted the producers heard them and were in the process of making the changes to Season 4 which ultimately never came to be.
