Any sport begins with the selection of quality equipment. For joggers, shoes are an essential attribute. Good running shoes should protect you from possible injury, be light and durable, high-tech, and stylish. A high-quality sole helps the shoe to meet these parameters. So, let's talk about it. And if you're searching for sneaker models that are better suited to your favorite sport, check out Willpowerpeak

Materials

The rubber outsole is resistant to wear, is not afraid of temperature changes, is durable and flexible. The sneakers with rubber soles are easy to care for. They are not fussy and comfortable. However, some podiatrists do not recommend buying sneakers with rubber soles; they believe that it may trigger the development of joint diseases.

Trainers with silicone soles are great for fitness, provide a good fit, cool feet, and comfort. Even with prolonged wear, the legs in such shoes do not get tired.

Gum rubber is an unfilled rubber compound made from natural and synthetic rubber. It differs in characteristic yellow-brown colors. Gum Rubber soles adhere well to parquet and other flooring indoors.

Sports shoes with polyurethane soles look stylish and beautiful. Such material is characterized by increased wear resistance. It is not rubbed off, is lightweight, and has low electrical conductivity.

Foam rubber is a soft material that is most often used in the manufacture of orthopedic shoes. It differs in heat and cold conductivity, which allows the leg neither sweat in summer nor freeze in winter.

Thermoplastic rubber is one of the popular materials used in the manufacture of running shoes. Such soles are resistant and durable, at times lighter than rubber, and quite comfortable. Their disadvantage is considered to be low heat resistance, it can deform at temperatures above 70 degrees.

What to Choose

Running shoes (except for some select models) are always cushioned. It should be in the heel of the sole. The same happens in the toe. All manufacturers of quality running shoes indicate the presence and position of cushioning inserts.

Duralon is a lightweight blend of synthetic rubber with airy micropores. Running in these shoes is soft, smooth. The material itself wears out quickly, so usually, the sole is not made entirely of it but placed in the running shoe's toe.

The sole of the shoe should be flexible and soft in the forefoot. The sole has abrasion-resistant rubber inserts. They are often located in the heel and outside the toe of the shoe, where the main load falls. The spring-loaded outsole is great for running as it was designed for people with joint problems. It helps to strengthen the ligaments and muscles, eliminate loading while running. This type of sole differs in high shock absorption and comfort.

Choose running shoes with an embossed sole. When it comes to material, it is best to opt for a non-slip material such as rubber or foam rubber. Also, the sole material must be durable so as not to deform under the influence of temperatures.
