New Japan Pro Wrestling

New Japan Pro Wrestling has announced the full card for its Power Struggle show on November 7 in EDION Arena Osaka, consisting of six marquee singles matches.

The full card is:

• KOPW 2020: Toru Yano (c) vs. Zack Sabre Jr.
• NEVER Openweight Championship: Minoru Suzuki (c) vs. Shingo Takagi
• Great-O-Khan vs. Kazuchika Okada
• IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship challenge rights certificate briefcase: KENTA (c) vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi
• IWGP Heavyweight Championship challenge rights certificate briefcase: Kota Ibushi (c) vs. Jay White
• IWGP Heavyweight Championship and IWGP Intercontinental Championship: Tetsuya Naito (c) vs. EVIL

Toru Yano will make his first defense of the KOPW 2020 trophy. He defeated El Desperado, Kazuchika Okada and SANADA in a four-way match at SUMMER STRUGGLE in JINGU on August 29 to become the provisional holder.

Minoru Suzuki will attempt his first defense of the NEVER Openweight Championship against Shingo Takagi. Suzuki defeated Takagi to win the championship at SUMMER STRUGGLE in JINGU.

Great-O-Khan will wrestle his first singles match since returning from excursion against Kazuchika Okada. He is a member of Will Ospreay’s new faction, officially titled The Empire.

KENTA earned his IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship challenge rights certificate briefcase by winning the New Japan Cup 2020 in the USA on NJPW STRONG.

He already defended it once against Jeff Cobb and will make his second defense against Hiroshi Tanahashi, who defeated KENTA during the G1 Climax.

Jon Moxley currently holds the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship. Due to the current travel restrictions, it is hard to guess when Moxley will next be able to defend the championship.

Kota Ibushi will defend his IWGP Heavyweight Championship challenge rights certificate briefcase against Jay White. After Ibushi won the G1 Climax yesterday, White immediately challenged him.

Lastly, Tetsuya Naito will defend the IWGP Heavyweight Championship and IWGP Intercontinental Championship against EVIL.

EVIL betrayed Naito and joined Bullet Club en route to winning both championships at Dominion. Naito then won both championships back at SUMMER STRUGGLE in JINGU.

EVIL defeated Naito during the G1 Climax and attacked him after their tag team match on yesterday’s show, setting the stage for the upcoming double championship match.
