AEW DARK REPORT

 

We are here for a WrestleMania Sized Edition of AEW Dark.  Cutler vs. Avalon II- An 0 May Possibly Go.

We are at Dailey's Place and your announcers are Excalibur and Taz.  Excalibur has described the evening as a gargantuan sized edition of AEW Dark.

Four Way Match: Evil Uno vs. The Blade vs. Frankie Kazarian vs. Jungle Boy Jack Perry

Blade and Kazarian square off, as do Uno and Perry.  Kaz and Perry clear things off and exchange standing switches.  Legsweep for 2 by Kazarian.  Perry with a rollup for 2.  Blade and Uno get knocked off the apron.   Blade pulls Perry out and Uno rolls up Kazarian for 2.  Kaz with a schoolboy for 2.  Kneelift and Uno rolls out.  Blade with a stun gun on Kazarian. Perry with an armdrag and knee strike on Blade.  Kazarian gets Perry on his shoulders and drops back for a 2 count.  Uno with chops on Perry.  Blade fires away on Kaz on the floor.  Uno with a vertical suplex for 2 on Perry.  Hangman neckbreaker for 2 by Uno on Perry.  Uno with a right hand to Blade.  Back elboe for 2 by Blade.  Blade and Uno exchange chops and now all four trade blows.  Kazarian with a double clothesline on Blade and Uno but Perry rolls him up for 2.  Perry with a pair of topes and KAzarian hits a cutter on Perry and gets a 2 on Blade with a Fisherman.  Perry with a sunset flip for 2 on Uno.  Uno get a neckbreaker for 2 on Perry.  Uno with a 6 count of punches on Blade in the corner, Blade with a powerbomb.  Perry and Kazarian knock heads and all 4 are down.  Kazarian with chops to Perry, Blade and Kazarian try a double superplex but Uno knocks them off the corner.  Jungle Boy rolls up Evil Uno for the pin.

WINNER: Jungle Boy.

The Mighty Dark Order arrive to bear down the oposition and now every teammate from the participants show up and brawl.  Luchsaurus cleans house of the Dark Order.  SCU and Jurassic Express shake hands.

Lee Johnson and Cezar Bononi vs. The Lucha Bros

Bononi and Penta kicks things off and Penta with a kick but Bononi with a shoulder tackle.  Fenix tags in and eats a bodyslam.  Johnson tags in.  Spin kick by Fenix and Penta with a snap German.  Torture Rack by Penta but Johnson rolls out and tags Bononi. Fenix tags in and eats a big clothesline.  Bononi with a slam and a power bomb to both members of the Lucha Bros for 2.  Penta with an Enziguiri and a Punisher followed by a double superkicks by the Lucha Bros.  Johnson knocks Fenix off the ropes.  Johnson with a tope and Bononi with a powerslam for 2 on Penta.  Johnson tags in and Penta with a sling blade.  Fenix tags in and hits a legdrop. Lucha Bros with a spike package piledriver on Johnson for the pin on Johnson.

WINNERS: The Lucha Bros.

Brandon Cutler (0-25-1) vs. Peter Avalon (0-26-1) w/ Leva Bates

Avalon attacks before the bell and nails a power bomb on the ramp. Cutler was looking on sadly at the empty seats usually reserved by the Young Bucks.  Avalon demands to be declared the winner by forfeit.  Bates helps Cutler to the ring.  Bell rings and Avalon with ground and pound.  Avalon with a double knee stomp and a dropkick.  Cutler to the outside as Mike Knox makes the count.  Cutler makes it back.  Belly to back by Avalon followed by 2 more. Single leg crab by Avalon, Cutler makes the ropes.  Avalon meets a boot off of a charge.  Cutler with an enziguiri and chops.  Legdrop on the apron by Cutler.  Avalon with a cheap shot using Bates as a distraction.  Cutler with a tope suicida.  Springboard elbow by Cutler for 2.  Urinage by Avalon for 2.  Cutler blocks a split legged moonsault.  Cutler with a reverse DDT for 2 count.  Cutler grabs die but Bates takes it away.  Avalon for 2 with a falcon arrow.  Avalon with a book as a weaon but Cutler catches him in a bodyslam and Knox goes down.  Each man grabs a weapon (hardcover book and the die) and hits the other.  Knox calls for the bell.

OFFCIAL RESULT: Double Disqualification

Matt Sydal vs. Sonny Kiss

Armdrag by Kiss, Sydal responds in kind and locks in a front chancery.  Dropsault by Kiss.  They reverse arm twists and a flying mare by Sydal for 1.  Sydal with a leg lariat.  Kiss with a kick but Sydal with a side suplex.  Chops by Sydal.  Kiss reverses an armdrag but Sydal with a hip toss.  Leg kick and  a standing corkscrew for 2 by Sydal.  Fisherman suplex for 2 by Sydal.  Kiss fires back and a flying headscissors.  Split legdrop by Kiss for 2. Side kick by Sydal, Kiss knocks him off the ropes with a split kick for 2.  Kiss misses a legdrop and Sydal applies a cobra clutch into an STF for the tap out.

WINNER: Matt Sydal

Aaron Solo, Angel Fashion and M'Badu vs the Dark Order (3, 4 & 10)

Solow and John Silver kicks things off.  Silver with a arm bar and a chop.  Solow with a dropkick.  M'Badu tags in and takes Silver down with a shoudler tackle.  ALex Reynonds tags in, as does Angel Fasion.  Fashion with a kick to the leg and a running knee strike for 1.  Vance tags in and hit s a running kick for 1.  Cutter by Vance for 2.  Reynolds tags in and hits snapmare and a kick to the back.  Fasion fires back but a neckbreaker by Reynolds for 2.  Silver tags in and fires away with kicks.  Fashion gets the tag to M'Badu and takes out the Dark Order.  Solow comes in but 10 nails him with a spear from the outside.  Triple Slam by the Dark Order (called the Drinking Bird by the announcers)and 10 gets the pin on Solow.

WINNERS: 3, 4 & 10

Elayna Black vs. Red Velvet

Black makes her AEW and UWN debut on the same night.  Brandi Rhodes joins commentary.  Black brings out a mini coffin with what looks like tarot cards in it.  Lockup and a wristlock by Black.  Velvet hits a headlock.  Deep armdrag by Velvet, followed by a single leg dropkick.  Brandi seems to be out there scouting Velvet as a potential friend.  That's not usually how it's done.  Black with forearms and a whip into the corner.  Running knee strike by Black for 2.  Black misses a dropkick and Velvet with 2 clotheslines and a spinkick.  Bulldog by Velvet.  Double knees to the back by Velvet.  Running knee strike by Red Velvet and she scores the pin for her first AEW win.

WINNER: Red Velvet

Fuego Del Sol vs. Ricky Starks.

Running kick by Starks.  Forearm by Starks.  Starks with a hard whip into the corner.  Taz may be single greatest heel commentator of all time while announcing his charges' matches.  Fuego with a dropkick but Starks send him over the top with a backdrop.  Starks to the broadcast booth to say hello to Taz.  Fuego with a kick but Starks with a hard Spear.  Starks with the Rochambeau for the pin.

WINNER: Ricky Starks

Alex Marvez is with Scorpio Sky and Chris Daniels.  Shawn Spears mocks SCU for losing to FTR.  Next week, Spears takes on Daniels.

Ryzin & Maxx Stardom vs. Billy & Austin Gunn

Ricky Starks has joined commentary.  Ryzin tees off on Austin Gunn.  Stardom tags in and hits an elbow.  Austin with a snap mare for 1.  Billy tags in.  Billy takes out Ryzin and Stardom.  Stardom with an Axe kick but Billy with a slam.  Austin tags in and Stardom with a spin kick and tags Ryzin in.  Backbreaker by Ryzin and a hangman neckbreaker for 2.  Clothesline by Austin, Stardom hits one of his own.  Double clothesline, both men are down.  Each tag out and Billy takes over.  He misses the famouser and Ryzin with a side kick.  Billy gets the tag and Stardom comes in as well.  Ausitn with a hip toss/neclbreaker for the pin.

WINNERS: Billy & Austin Gunn

Nick Comoroto vs. Darby Allin

Lockup, Comoroto with a Beel Throw.  He shoves Allin to the group.  Allin with a palm strike but Comoroto with a clothesline.  Allin gets worked on in the corner.  Comoroto with a hard whip into the corner.  Allin fires back with chops and a slam by Comoroto.  Armbar by Comoroto followed by a backbreaker for 1.  Dropkick by Allin and an armbar against the ropes.  Allin with a chop block and applies an armbar, cranking back.  Comoroto makes the ropes.  Knee drop by Allin. Hammerlock takedown and Allin with the coffin drop for the pin.

WINNER: Darby Allin

Allin and Starks brawl at commentary briefly.

Colt Cabana vs. Griff Garrison

Lockup, takedown by Cabana.  Arm twist by Cabana, Garrison turns it into a headlock and big kick to the face.  Griff misses a charge. Cabana with kicks to the midsection. Colt with chops and Garrison fires back, but Colt with an elbow for 2.  Griff with forearms and a rolling elbow strike.  They exchange punches. Uppercut by Garrison followed by a splash on the corner.  He comes off the top but Colt meets him with a pair of boots.  Splash for 2 by Cabana.  Billy Goat's Curse by Cabana and Garrison taps out.

WINNER: Colt Cabana

KiLynn King vs. Nyla Rose w/Vicky Guerrero

Rose with an easy throw and a back elbow.  King with a forearm and kick to the midsection.  Rose with a fallaway slam.  Big right hands by Rose.  King fires back but Rose slams her into the buckle.  German suplex by Rose.  Beast Bomb and Rose scores the pin

WINNER: Nyla Rose

Vickie grabs the mic to announce that Rose will not step into the ring until AEW Champion Hikaru Shida accepts their challenge.

Joey Janels vs. D3

Arm twist by D3, Janela reverses it. Rollup for 2 by D3.  Janela with a headlock.  Shoulderblock by Janela.  Headscissors by D3, Janela misses a clothesline but he hits a low dropkick. Kneelift and neckbreaker for 2 by Janela.  D3 with an elbow.  Janela with an airplane spin and a Dealth Valley Driver on the floor.  Running clothesline by Janela.  Brainbuster by Janela followed by another.  A third brainbuster.  This may need to be stopped.  Janela finally just scores the pin.

WINNER: Joey Janela

Elijah Dean vs. Wardlow

Wardlow puts this away quick by ref stoppage.

WINNER: Wardlow

Eddie Kingston vs. Baron Black

Kingston with a go behind and a headlock takeover, Black escapes.  Kneelifts by Eddie.  Kingston with chops and a running knee, followed by a spinning backfist.  Kingston with a guillotine and Black passes out.
