INJURED STAR RETURNS ON MONDAY NIGHT RAW

WWE star Elias, who has been off WWE TV since a car crash angle on the 5/29 episode of Friday Night Smackdown that was covering the fact he suffered a torn pectoral muscle, returned on Monday Night Raw.

Elias, now a heel, attacked Jeff Hardy and blasted him with a guitar to allow AJ Styles to pin Hardy and win a Triple Threat match.

The car crash angle on Smackdown months ago was Sheamus setting the scene to make it appear Hardy was responsible.  Whether Elias attacked Hardy because he believes, within the confines of the storyline, that Hardy caused his injuries remains to be seen.
