MLW UNDERGROUND REPORT: PUNK VS RAVEN AND MORE

We start off with a look at last week’s episode when Mikey Whipwreck appeared dressed as La Parka to face Sabu.

Bill Alfonso is in the back and he says that every time he shows up here, he ends up in the hospital. He tells Sabu to help him take care of business.

Sabu leaves the building and he is attacked by Jerry Lynn and Mikey Whipwreck. Jerry slams a car door into Sabu’s head a few times and they drive away. Jim Mitchell tells Sabu an eye for an eye as they drive away.

Your host is Joey Styles and he is in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Match Number One: Homicide versus Michael Shane (with Francine)

They lock up and go to a stalemate. They lock up again and Shane with a waist lock and Homicide escapes. Shane wants Homicide to back up and then Homicide kicks Shane. They lock up and Shane with a side head lock and shoulder tackle. Homicide with arm drags and a monkey flip attempt but Shane pushes him away. Homicide with a drop toe hold and Shane goes to the floor to talk strategy with Francine.

Shane with a shoulder from the apron and a sunset flip but Homicide rolls through. Homicide with a punch and he chops Shane. Homicide with an Irish whip and forearm into the corner. Homicide with a running knee as we go to commercial.

We are back and both men are down. Homicide with a back body drop and drop kick. Homicide puts Shane on the turnbuckles but Shane pushes Homicide to the mat but he is met with a reverse atomic drop and a t-bone suplex for a near fall. Homicide with elbows and Homicide hits the Cop Killer but Francine pulls Homicide off Shane to break up the cover.

Homicide follows Francine around the ring and Shane hits a flatliner for a near fall as Francine escapes to the floor. Shane with a power bomb for a near fall. Homicide blocks a super kick and applies an STF. Francine distracts the referee while Shane taps out but the referee does not hear it. Homicide grabs Francine and Shane almost punches Francine. Shane with a rollup and he gets a near fall. Homicide with a boot to the head for a near fall.

Homicide goes up top and Francine grabs Homicide’s leg. Homicide grabs Francine and brings her too her knees. Homicide sends Francine into Shane’s groinal region a number of times. Homicide gets Francine up but Shane with a super kick for a near fall. Homicide with a rollup for the three count.

Winner: Homicide

We go to commercial.

We are back with Mikey Whipwreck and Sinister Minister. Jim Mitchell talks about the different levels of wrestlers. He says he deals with the lost souls in wrestling purgatory. People like Mikey Whipwreck. People never given their due despite how talented they are. He is going to build a legion of lost souls to turn MLW on its ear. He can make these men into what he wants them to be. Do you know what it is like to be alone for two years and have no one talk to you. Mikey returns and says his duck is not swimming. Jim asks if you know what it is like to have two tag team partners leave.

Mikey Whipwreck thought he had two friends in MLW, Sabu and Bill Alfonso. At the end of the day, you have a broken body and a broken mind to impress a bunch of hardcore wrestling fans. A species of subhumans interested by cheap beer, internet porn, and internet wrestling sheets.

It is time for Mikey Whipwreck to sober you up.

Joey Styles mentions that if Steve Williams and The Sandman can beat CW Anderson and Simon Diamond in singles matches, then they will earn a tag title match.

Joey talks about Paul London and Jerry Lynn. Paul London missed the first match in the Young Lions series due to a family emergency.

Jerry Lynn brought this up in the ring.

We go to footage where Jerry Lynn is in the ring with Christopher Daniels. He talks about Paul’s lame excuse of his father being in the hospital. Jerry talks about missing weddings and family surgeries to wrestle. He says he was in Japan when his daughter was born.

We go to commercial.

We are back with a look at Mikey Whipwreck and his MLW debut.

Sabu and Bill Alfonso are in the back and Alfonso says it will be a big night in Orlando in July. We got revenge on our minds.

Sandman and Steve Williams are in the back and Sandman kicks in a door and they go after the Extreme Horsemen.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Joey Styles mentions that Fuego Guerrero is in Japan and Joey mentions rumors of a Light Heavyweight Title.

Next week, Los Maximos will face the Samoan Island Tribe.

Match Number Two: Raven versus CM Punk

Before the match starts, Simply Luscious makes her way to the ring and CM Punk takes a mic.

Punk asks if you know who he is. I know Raven knows who he is. He says he is CM Punk and he is straight edge. He is drug free, I am alcohol free, and that means I am better than each and every one of you. Tonight I prove why I am better than you and this degenerate who built his legacy on drugs and going in and out of rehab. It is not 4:20, it’s Clobberin’ Time.

The match starts and Punk retreats into the corner to avoid Raven. Raven with punches and he sends Punk to the floor. Raven follows but Punk gets back into the ring.

We move ahead in the match and Raven with a drop toe hold into the chair for a near fall. Raven punches Punk and Raven puts the chair in the turnbuckles. Punk with a back kick into the ding ding. Punk with a Shining Wizard for a near fall. Punk takes the chair and Punk hits a Shining Wizard using the chair for a near fall.

Raven with an Evenflow DDT but Michael Shane pulls Raven out of the ring on the cover. Shane sends Raven into the ring post while Punk distracts the referee. Punk with a DDT for the three count.

Winner: CM Punk

After the match, Shane and Punk attack Raven. Punk gives Raven a drop toe hold into the chair. Punk punches Raven and he gives Raven another drop toe hold into the chair.

Norman Smiley comes to the ring with a chair and Shane and Punk go to the floor.

Norman Smiley has a message for bitch number one and bitch number two. Smiley challenges them to a tag match.

Steve Corino says your eyes are not deceiving you. I am standing here with the MLW World Championship in my hands. We said we would rule MLW sooner rather than later. Everything I have said since I entered MLW has come true. I will defend this title all over the world. Corino tells Funk he hasn’t forgotten about him. You think you might own me but I own the world title. It is Corino three world titles and Funk only has two. The Extreme Horsemen rule wrestling. Bring all you have because we are not giving up the gold.
