Off the heels of Hiroshi Tanahashi’s appearance on All Elite Wrestling’s Dynamite show earlier this week, various wrestlers from both companies have taken to social media to tease appearances in the opposite promotion.
Orange Cassidy tweeted about Best of the Super Juniors, Evil Uno tweeted about World Tag League and Colt Cabana posted pictures of himself and Toru Yano, who he teamed with in last year’s World Tag League.
When is BoSJ?

Evil Uno wonders about the World Tag League.

Furthermore, El Phantasmo tweeted references to Dynamite, which drew a response from Ricky Starks, and AEW’s upcoming Full Gear pay-per-view.

Fans have also speculated Jon Moxley made a sly reference to Kazuchika Okada on Dynamite.
While discussing his upcoming AEW World Championship match against Lance Archer, Moxley flipped a video on the table.
The coin flip can be heard at the 1:12 mark.
Of course, the sound of coins dropping, or perhaps flipping in this case, can be heard at the start of Okada’s theme song.
Conspiracy theories aside, New Japan will hold its fourteenth G1 Climax show in Aichi Gymnasium tomorrow.
Only a limited number of wresters will compete on each G1 Climax show for precautionary reasons. As such, A block competitors will not compete on the undercard of shows featuring B block tournament matches and vice versa.
Tomorrow’s show is exclusively B block wrestlers. Each tournament show will start with a singles match between two young lions (Gabriel Kidd, Yota Tsuji or Yuya Uemura) followed by five tournament matches.

• B block: KENTA vs. Toru Yano

Going into the show, the current B block standings are:
1. Tetsuya Naito (5-1 record): 10 points
2. EVIL (4-2 record): 8 points

Various announcements have been made for Big Japan’s show in EDION Arena Osaka on November 23.
First, Daisuke Sekimoto will challenge for the BJW World Strong Heavyweight Championship.
Daichi Hashimoto currently holds the championship. He will defend it against Yuji Okabayashi on October 21 in Korakuen Hall.
Sekimoto unsuccessfully challenged Hashimoto for the championship in March at Yokohama Cultural Gymnasium. It was Hashimoto’s third successful defense of his current reign.
Hashimoto also defeated Sekimoto to win this year’s Ikkitousen Strong Climb tournament in April.
Should Hashimoto defeat Okabayashi on October 21, he will have seven successful defenses. It is worth remembering Hashimoto discussed his desire to break Sekimoto’s record for the most successful defenses of the BJW World Strong Heavyweight Championship in an interview with Tokyo Sports last month.
Sekimoto’s record is 10 successful defenses in 2013. Currently, Hashimoto has made six successful defenses against Okabayashi, Takuya Nomura, Sekimoto, Yasufumi Nakanoue, Akira Hyodo and Shigehiro Irie.
Hashimoto’s father, Shinya Hashimoto, was nicknamed “Mr. IWGP” for breaking the record of successful IWGP Heavyweight Championship defenses with nine (a record since broken by Yuji Nagata, Hiroshi Tanahashi and Kazuchika Okada). Hashimoto hopes to become “Mr. Strong” by breaking Sekimoto’s record.
The full Tokyo Sports article can be read here.
Second, Andy Wu will challenge for the BJW Junior Heavyweight Championship in EDION Arena Osaka on November 23.

The championship is currently held by Yuya Aoki. He will defend it against Tatsuhiko Yoshino on October 21.
There will also be a BJW Junior Heavyweight Championship championship defense on November 8 in Hokkaido. Whoever is champion after November 8 will defend the championship against Wu.
Aoki currently has four successful defenses against Kota Sekifuda, TAJIRI and Yoshino in a four-way, Kazuki Hashimoto, Fuminori Abe and El Lindaman. Should Aoki defeat Yoshino on October 21 and the unspecified opponent on November 8, he will tie Shinobu’s record for six successful defenses of the BJW Junior Heavyweight Championship.
As a result, defeating Wu would allow Aoki to break the record for most successful defenses of the championship.
Lastly, Jun Kasai will return to Big Japan to team with Jaki Numazawa against Ryuji Ito and Yuki Ishikawa in a deathmatch.
Kasai last competed for Big Japan at the first LAST BUNTAI show in Yokohama Cultural Gymnasium on August 29.
Big Japan will hold another show in Tokyo tomorrow.
