WWE NXT UK REPORT: HERITAGE CUP CONTINUES, DRAGUNOV/WALTER IN 3 WEEKS, AND MORE

We are in London, England and your announcers are Andy Shepherd and Nigel McGuinness.

Match Number One: Xia Brookside and Dani Luna versus Amale and Nina Samuels

Luna and Samuels start things off and they lock up. Luna with a waist lock take down and a second one. Luna with a front face lock and Samuels with an escape and arm bar. Luna with a fireman’s carry into a front face lock. Brookside tags in and she works on the arm and takes Samuels down with a side head lock. Samuels with a rollup for a near fall. Samuels with a head scissors and a chop to the injured ribs.

Brookside with a headstand to escape. Luna tags in and they chop Samuels and Luna gets a near fall. Amale tags in and she connects with a forearm to the back and she pie faces Luna. Amale with a forearm and cravate. Amale with a snap mare and kick to the chest for a near fall. Samuels tags in and they miss a double clothesline but Luna hits one and gets a near fall.

Luna catches Samuels on a cross body and hits a fallaway slam. Brookside tags in and goes to the turnbuckles and hits a cross body for a near fall. Brookside with a head scissors take down and she misses a splash into the corner and Samuels with a tilt-a-whirl back breaker. Samuels kicks Luna off the apron and gets a near fall on Brookside. Samuels with punches to Brookside and Amale kicks and chokes Brookside while the referee deals with Luna.

Samuels with a forearm to the back and a reverse suplex for a near fall. Samuels with a side head lock. Amale makes the blind tag and Samuels with a rollup and she doesn’t realize a tag was made. Amale gets a near fall. Amale with forearms and a figure four head scissors and she drives the head into the mat.

Amale gets a near fall. Luna tags in and she hits a running back elbow and slams Amale. Luna gets Amale on her shoulders but Amale escapes. Luna with a kick and a suplex for a near fall. Luna gets Amale up but Amale rakes the eyes to escape. Samuels refuses to make the tag and goes off the apron and walks to the back. Luna with a rollup for a near fall. Amale with a rolling elbow and forearms. Luna with a German suplex.

Brookside tags in and Xia with a Brookside Bomb for the three count.

Winners: Xia Brookside and Dani Luna

Ilja Dragunov is in the back and he refuses to answer any questions about what happened last week.

Ilja sees Sid Scala talking to Pete Dunne. Ilja wants to fight everyone. He wants Wolfe and WALTER next week. Sid asks who will Ilja’s partner be and Ilja says it will be Pete and Pete is okay with it.

Sid makes the match official.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Piper Niven is asked about Kay Lee Ray’s address later tonight. Piper says it is a shocker that Kay Lee Ray will run her mouth again. There will be plenty of people waiting for her.

Match Number Two: Jack Starz versus Saxon Huxley

Starz avoids Huxley at the start of the match but Huxley tosses Starz across the ring. Huxley misses a boot and Starz goes for the arm and applies a wrist lock. Huxley with a forearm and knee. Huxley lifts Starz in the air by the wrist. Huxley stands on the shoulder. Huxley with a wrist lock and he lifts Starz in the air.

Starz with a drop kick and a drop kick to the back. Starz misses a drop kick and Huxley presses Starz over his head and slams him to the mat. Huxley with a running knee into the corner and then he tosses Starz into the turnbuckles. Huxley with a biel and he kicks Starz in the back. Huxley with knees and forearms in the corner.

Starz with punches but Huxley with a knee. Huxley with Irish whips. Huxley with a knee in the corner and he works on the neck. Starz with punches. Huxley gets Stars on his shoulders for a torture rack but Starz gets to his feet and Huxley misses a splash. Starz with forearms and a drop kick to the leg. Starz with a cross body for a near fall.

Starz with European uppercuts to stagger Huxley into the corner. Huxley with a running knee and he tries for a power slam but Starz gets to the apron. Starz with a cross body and Huxley catches him. Huxley with a back breaker for the three count.

Winner: Saxon Huxley

We take a look at the tag team division and see Gallus winning the tag titles from Flash Morgan Webster and Mark Andrews. Mark says they have known each other for ten years. Wolfgang was one of the top independent stars when he started. Wolfgang remembers being in the ring with Mark in ICW. He hit him so hard. Wolfgang says Gallus has gotten stronger since NXT UK started. Mark says they work well as a team because they are opposites. Wolfgang is a nutcase. They have each others backs. They knew they would win the titles. They run this division and brand.

We go to commercial.

We are back and we see Pretty Deadly arrive at the building. They ask if they are going to be asked about the Hunt or Gallus. They are asked about Eddie Dennis and they say he was talking about Nunya. None Ya Business.

Xia Brookside and Dani Luna are asked about Kay Lee Ray and her comments later tonight. Xia says that Kay Lee needs to be careful. Dani says that Kay Lee Ray may find out how many enemies she has.

Match Number Three: A-Kid versus Flash Morgan Webster in a First Round Match in the NXT UK Heritage Cup Tournament

Round One

They lock up and A-Kid with a waist lock but Webster works on the wrist. A-Kid with a side head lock take down. Webster with a rollup but A-Kid gets to his feet. A-Kid with a wrist lock and reversal into an arm drag but A-Kid holds on to a double wrist lock. Webster with a wrist lock.

Webster takes A-Kid to the mat. Webster takes A-Kid back to the mat and A-Kid with a bridge into a head scissors and Webster escapes. Webster with a single leg take down. Webster with a side head lock. A-Kid with a hammer lock and chin lock into a hammer lock and Webster sends A-Kid over the top rope and hits a springboard drop kick that sends Webster to the floor as the round ends

Round Two

They start with a Greco Roman Knuckle Lock and A-Kid with a single leg take down into a side head lock. Webster with a head scissors. A-Kid with an escape and he works on the legs and applies a bow and arrow but Webster counters with a lateral press for a near fall. They lock up and Webster with a wrist lock take down. Webster with an arm bar and A-Kid with a cartwheel and head butt.

A-Kid misses a kick and moonsault but lands on his feet. Webster tries for a take down but A-Kid blocks it. Webster with a rollup for the three count.

Webster 1 Fall, A-Kid 0 Falls

Round Three

They lock up and A-Kid backs Webster into the corner and A-Kid pie faces Webster. They lock up and A-Kid with a wrist lock. Webster with a wrist lock and A-Kid with an arm wringer and the referee holds A-Kid back.

Webster with a straitjacket choke and he gets A-Kid to the mat and A-Kid with a reversal. Webster backs A-Kid into the turnbuckles and escapes. A-Kid with an elbow and he misses a moves out of the corner but hits a springboard cross body for a near fall. A-Kid with a fisherman’s suplex for a near fall. Webster with a moonsault but A-Kid with a rollup for a near fall. Webster with a poisonrana as the round ends.

Round Four

Webster with a jumping knee for a near fall. Webster goes up top but A-Kid with an enzuigiri. A-Kid goes up top for Spanish Fly followed by a jumping side kick for the three count.

Webster 1 Fall, A-Kid 1 Fall

Round Five

A-Kid slaps Webster and he slaps Webster again. A-Kid with a kick to the back of the leg followed by more slaps. Webster with a slap and they go back and forth. A-Kid with punches but Webster with a Falcon Arrow for a near fall. A-Kid with forearms. Webster with a forearm and A-Kid tries for an Omoplata but Webster escapes.

A-Kid with a kick to the head followed by a forearm and he tries for a sleeper but Webster blocks it. Webster with a head butt to the upper chest and A-Kid goes over the top rope to the floor. Webster with a suicide dive and then he goes up top and misses a swanton and A-Kid tries for a cross arm breaker but Webster tries to escape. A-Kid forces Webster to tap out.

Winner: A-Kid (Advances to face Noam Dar)

We see Kay Lee Ray in the back as she prepares to make her way to the ring to make her State of the Union address.

WALTER faces Ilja Dragunov in three weeks for the NXT UK Championship.

We have a video package.

We start off with the battle royal where Ilja earned his title match. We see Ilja talking about the win and he says that out of twenty people, he was the last man left. He says it was surreal that he made an opportunity for him that he has waited years for. WALTER says that Ilja and him share the same history. They grew up in the same system. He made Ilja. He respects Ilja. Ilja comes to the ring filled with emotions and he is driven by emotions and passions.

WALTER says this is his profession and his mind is cold and he is focused on what it takes to be the champion. When we meet it will be the greatest fight of your life. Ilja says he remembers the pain and WALTER made him better and the person he is now. WALTER says he made Ilja and now he will destroy him. Ilja says that WALTER will not keep him down. Ilja says this match will redefine violence.

We go to commercial.

We are back and we see footage of Mark Andrews being shown Flash Morgan Webster down in the garage after being attacked.

Next week’s Heritage Cup match will be between Dave Mastiff and Joseph Connors.

We will also have the tag match featuring WALTER and Alexander Wolfe against Ilja Dragunov and Pete Dunne.

NXT UK Women’s Champion Kay Lee Ray makes her way to the ring so she can address the Women’s Division of NXT UK.

Kay Lee says that she knows you all thought she couldn’t do it. The entire NXT UK Universe thought she was going to lose her title two weeks ago. In the end, it was her who came out on top and defeated the mighty Piper Niven. Some people might have been surprised, but not me. Every day, my record breaking title reign gets longer and longer after all of the adversity she has gone through. No one will change that. If anyone has a problem, you know where to find me.

A number of women make their way to ringside.

She says all she sees are pretenders. A witch that can make spells. A Valkyrie that can’t fly. These two can’t even get along long enough to challenge me. Worst of them all, the ultimate let down.

Aoife Valkyrie with a springboard cross body and then more women come into the ring and attack Kay Lee, but Ray escapes and Isla Dawn and Piper Niven have to be separated. Brookside with a head scissors to Ray on the floor while Luna, Niven, Valkyrie, and Dawn battle.

Kay Lee backs into Jinny at the entrance and Jinny with a forearm. They fight to the back. Ray hits Jinny in the back with a laptop and then Jinny sends Ray over a table. Jinny sends Ray into the ringside barrier and clotheslines Ray into the ringside area. Jinny with a clothesline to Ray and Niven with a cannonball onto Samuels and Luna. Valkyrie with a spinning back heel kick to Dawn. Valkyrie with a cross body onto everyone on the floor.
