As the bell rings, Yano does the referee's job and removes three rolls of tape from his trunks.   They try to tie up.  Another roll of tape comes out of Yano's tights.  He says "Last one, last one!"   They start to grapple and roll out of each other's attempted take downs.  Yano drops to all fours and invites ZSJ to wrestle.  ZSJ wraps him in an arm submission but Yano rolls to the ropes.  ZSJ drops to his fours and invites Yano for the same.   Yano goes for the turnbuckle and ZSJ hits him from behind.  ZSJ attempts an abdominal stretch which he turns into a pin attempt for a one count.    The roll to the outside and throw each other into guardrails.  Yano hits ZSJ with a chair.  He pulls out more tape and tapes ZSJ's arm to the chair which is stuck between in the guardrail.  Yano runs back to the ring while the referee counts.  Zack is able to slide the chair between the bars of teh guardrail and make it back to the ring at the count of 19, with the chair still taped to his arm.   The referee and ZSJ are struggling to get the and tape off his arm.  Finally the chair is removed.   ZSJ is angry.   Yano apologizes profusely.   He bows to ZSJ.  Yano offers a handshake.  He rakes ZSJ in the eyes.  He takes him over with a fireman's carry slam.  Yano throws ZSJ across the ring with a belly-to-belly suplex.  They roll outside and ZSJ puts Yano in an ankle lock.   ZSJ drags him by the left ankle half way back to the locker room.  ZSJ runs back to the ring with Yano limping behind.  They both make it to ring before a count out.  ZSJ continues his attack on Yano's left leg, with leg submissions.   Yano whips ZSJ into the corner.  He rips off a turnbuckle to use.  Yano argues with the referee.  ZSJ misses a spinning kick.  Yano takes out his legs with turnbuckle and goes for a pin.  Two count.  Yano gets hit with a European Uppercut and trips over the turnbuckle.  ZSJ goes for the European Clutch, which Yano reverses into a pin, but just a two count.  Yano attempted a low blow but ZSJ trapped his arm with his knees and locked in an arm submission.  Yano rolls him up for a two count.  ZSJ counters with a pin attempt of his own for a two count.  ZSJ charges and hits the unprotected corner with a metal bolt.  ZSJ locks in a choke hold which Yano counters into a small package for a two count.  Yano tries for a mule kick low blow but ZSJ traps his leg in ankle submission.  Yano grabs the turnbuckle and hits ZSJ with no effect.  The referee grabs the turnbuckle away.   ZSJ twists both Yano's legs like pretzel and clamps in the submission harder.  Yano screams and taps out.

Fun match.   Despite the contrast in styles, they had a good match.  Yano got his comedy in, but showed he could wrestle.  Zack Sabre Jr. looked like the dangerous submission master that he is.

KENTA came to the ring with his IWGP U.S. Heavyweight Title Contract Briefcase.  There was a big crack in the briefcase.  KENTA had taped the name "Tanahashi" next to the crack.  This was a reference to the last B Block event where KENTA smashed Hiroshi Tanahashi in the head with the briefcase.
