By Mike Johnson on 2020-10-05 08:58:00

Masked Republic's Expo Lucha fan convention and expo has gone virtual for 2020 and this Saturday, October 10th at 10 AM Pacific, fans will be able to watch the six hour plus event free on The Expo Lucha Facebook page, Lucha Central YouTube channel and Masked Republic Twitch channel.

Among Expo Lucha: Virtual highlights will be:
- Never before streamed matches including The Lucha Brothers Penta Zero M & Rey Fenix teaming with Mr. Aguila who reunited with Amy Dumas for the first time in nearly twenty years to battle the all-star team of Brian Cage, TJP and Jack Evans.

- Officially licensed product announcements including new action figure reveals

- A Lucha Underground panel as for the first time ever, Konnan sits down with the crew from Masks, Mats and Mayhem to talk about his role in the groundbreaking series and everything from backstage politics to his release from the series.  And as always, Konnan keeps it 100!

- And a whole lot more!

The event also gives fans from across the globe a chance to enter Expo Lucha contests generally reserved for in-person attendees.

A panel of 5 luchadores will judge these contests with winners receiving cool, custom, collectible prizes and the chance for one lucky fan to win a personalized out-going voicemail message recorded by a luchador!

• Cosplay Campeonato! Fans compete for the win by submitting photos of their knock out cosplay costumes.

• Customize It: Fans submit their own custom mask design sketches for a chance to bring it to life created by a professional luchador mask craftsman, sponsored by Boss Fight Studio’s Legends of Lucha Libre Mini Mascaras collectible line (which fans will get to see fully revealed this Saturday during the live stream).

• Fan-tastic Figure Fight: The best custom figure makers go head-to-head to impress luchadores with their skills and a panel of superstars will crown one the Champion of Custom Figures.

Entry for all three contests is open to anyone age 13 or above, but they all close at 11:59 PM Pacific tonight.  The complete rules and entry information can be found at ExpoLucha.com.
