Tracy Smothers, who's long career in professional wrestling has included runs in the WWF, WCW, Smoky Mountain Wrestling, ECW, IWA Mid-South, the USWA and many other promotions, has been hospitalized.
Smothers, 58 years old, has been battling cancer for some time and according to an Instagram post from former WWE and ECW star The Blue Meanie, Smothers has been dealing with other health issues, including heart problems.
Meanie wrote, "My mind and heart are with Tracy Smothers tonight as I'm hearing of his battle with cancer and other complications have him hospitalized. This hurts my heart. I am who I am in wrestling because he helped mold me and countless others. I love you man! Keep fighting!"
