Pro Wrestling ZERO1’s annual Fire Festival will begin tomorrow in Shinjuku FACE.

Unlike other round-robin tournaments, the scoring system for the Fire Festival is slightly different.
Five points are awarded for victory by pinfall, submission or knockout. Four points are awarded for victory by referee stoppage, countout or disqualificiation. Three points are awarded for a draw (there is a 30-minute time limit for all block matches) and zero points are awarded for a loss.
Masato Tanaka has won the tournament five times. Yuji Hino and Yuko Miyamoto are also previous winners.
Hayato Tamura currently holds the World Heavyweight Championship. He defeated Chris Vice to win the championship in August and defended it successfully against Towa Iwasaki in September.

DDT’s statement included a statement from Ladybeard thanking the company for the last five years.
He won the Ironman Heavymetalweight Championship three times and also won the KO-D 10-Man Tag Team Championships once alongside LiLiCo, Ken Ohka, Makoto Oishi and Super Sasadango Machine.
