By Kendall Jenkins on 2020-09-28 15:44:00

The video gaming industry is worth more than $150 billion in the year 2019. It’s because 23 million Canadians are playing video games daily, according to ESAC. More than 64% of American households have a device that is used to play video games.

One of the most played games is Agen bola that provides fun, entertainment, and pleasure in one package. The ratio of males (55%) is more than females (45%) in playing online games. But the average age for both genders is considered to be 32 years old.

Half of these players are fans of playing action games like Shooter, PUBG, and Snipers shot. Can you imagine a video game is capable of earning $3 billion? Yes, it’s true. It happened in the year 2018 where Fortnite earned Epic Games $3 billion, which was the highest annual revenue of any game in the history of video gaming.

It’s because they offer a $100,000,000 prize pool for the participants. As a result, many colleges and universities have started integrating e-sports teams into their sports departments. They are training their students to grab the trophy with the winning prize.

Why do scammers target young people?

There are tons of reasons that can be discussed in the article Why younger people are the priority of online scams? First of all, they’re young which means they can be challenged in any way. You just need to play a trick and they would take the dare. As a result, they get trapped by the sharp scammers.

Second, children are innocent and they can trust strangers if talked generously. The scammers used to take advantage of their innocence and asked them to share their login details if they wanted to get secrets of breaking levels of a particular game. In the end, they succeed in getting soft details about the accounts and passwords.

Last but not the least, the scammers used to exploit your kid's credit cards. As we all know, it’s not hard to get the first-hand information about the opening lines of a credit card. Normally, credit card information is provided at the time of signing up for a particular game.

Here is where the problem came. When scammers also join hands with your kids in the name of online support or help. By wrapping it up, we can say that parents should be aware of their kid’s online video-gaming activities. So that they can prevent any scams with their children in the future.
