In regard to Impact Wrestling teasing a return for Aces & Eights, it was simply a different thing for the company to tease to help build the mystery of what was going to happen at Slammiversary. Neither Bully Ray or Ken Anderson were brought in for TV this week, so it's not a case of the company was waiting to pull the trigger on another return.
Rob Van Dam was at this week's TV tapings.
There has been some talk of the IPWF territory show being done down the line, especially since Gallows and Anderson can reprise their Too Bad Chad and Sex Ferguson retro personalities seen elsewhere. There's no set plan as to when but it's been tossed around.
The idea of spinning TNA back off into its own series remains a possibility as AXS TV has been high on the idea.
While there were rumors of Miro, the former Rusev, coming in, we are told there is nothing concrete to that story making the rounds.
Impact finished taping several weeks of TV today.
