Championship Wrestling Presented by Amarillo Venom brings pro wrestling tradition back to NewsChannel 10 in Amarillo, TX
Hollywood, CA / Amarillo, TX
Beginning Saturday night August 1st, Championship Wrestling Presented by Amarillo Venom will have a new weekly television home and time slot on NewsChannel 10 at 11:35 pm. Pro wrestling is right at home on NewsChannel 10 KFDA, as the station was a longtime home for weekly televised wrestling in the past with the legendary Funk family and their regional broadcasts of action from the National Wrestling Alliance. UWN President David Marquez commented, "We are excited to partner with NewsChannel 10 to reignite a great tradition of weekly pro wrestling in Amarillo, and we are thrilled to continue to showcase the stars of the United Wrestling Network to new audiences throughout the U.S. and around the world."
